other places for referrals.

I already got approved for a free ipod shuffle and ipod photo. I got about 4 of those referrals through trades and the rest through posting messages on sites and getting friends to do offer, it wasn't easy and took months. The trades were much easier and I'd rather do it that way. The problem is that I've already done a lot and am running out of sites and offers to complete. Where else do you all get referrals from? I'd like to pay people for them, are there any sites you can do this? I found one but there are so many people looking to buy referrals and not many doing them so it seems like a waste. Any suggestions?
