The PSP has graphics almost as good as the PS2. It's a quick post, and I'll give more later http//psp.ign.com/[]http//psp.ign.com/.

I heard that too. That would be AWESOME if you could run internet explorer or firefox on it. While your at the airport, you could pick up a connection and surf the web from a PSP! That would be cool.

yeah that would be pretty fantastic. the only way i could see it as convenient is if you were able to import an extensive bookmark list through IE or Firefox. That way you wouldnt have to input any web addresses directly.

Or maybe an extensive start page with many options for browsing. Kinda like a yahoo! style portal.

I believe SONY was planning on releasing a keyboard for the PSP so people could tap into it's other things. The DS may be utilized as a Palm shortly, says a Nintendo insider. It'd be a lot easier to surf the net on a DS, because the touch screen can function as a mouse/keyboard, and the top screen could be the display. I'm planning on getting Need For Speed Underground Rivals, The Godfather, and whichever Grand Theft Auto they release for the PSP. If the graphics are better than the PSP, then that'd be just amazing.

at one of the game shows it showed this like touch pad thing that was clear that was a keyboard it was kinda cool, also i'm pretty sure the PDA functions will be made for the PSP becuase a system update was leaked and it had web and e-mail and some other stuff that was stated on the installer but if you actually installed it your PSP got messed up

I wonder if the PsP will mark the end of the Nintendo dominance of the handheld market...

Maybe its just me but i can't wait for the Need for Speed Underground Rivals game on PSP. I go through underground games so quickly that i need a new one every month to keep me busy. So im just glad they have made a new one for PSP.

well, lets compare the two newest handhelds......DS vs PSP, 9 outa 10 people will prefer the PSP.

so .......so far it looks like Sony will take over. If nintendo doesnt keep their systems ahead of the game theyre gunna end up like Sega. Only making games, and no more systems.

I mentioned this before.....It's possible and it doesn't have a name yet. It's supposed to compete with the PSP, but with Nintendo's history of graphics (see Gamecube v. XBox or Playstaion2), who knows....

As good as PS2? Whatif the PS2 is on a 1080I HDTV?

Then it'd be a PS2 stretched on a big screen? Though the thing isn't as powerful as the PS2. It's slightly weaker, on a lower res screen. Just like the DS isn't quite N64 power but on the smaller screen pulls a bit more. Both are rather kick ass systems. Keep in mind too though that Nintendo's registered "V-Pocket" as a trademark and licensed Palm OS. I really am curious to see how this handheld war plays out. Don't count on Firefox or IE of course. The system wouldn't have the space or the ram for either, period. However it would be wise to do their own custom embedded browser.
