My problem....

I think that even when I do complete freeipods.com, I will get put on hold, even though I really have no control. Heres what I'm thinking about sending in to Gratis through a customer service ticket. I just wanted to know what you guys think, and if I should send it in.

Heres the message I plan to send in explaining my situation.

Two of my referrals have told me that they had created accounts here before. I had also done the same because of a miss-understanding when I first signed up.

After I found out that I couldn't have more than one account, I sent in a customer service ticket like this, explaining why I had two accounts, and in the response it said that as long as my old account stays un active, I will be okay.

I ask both of my referrals if they have been using their old accounts, and they both assured me that they weren't. So, I just wanted to know, will I get put on hold, even though they aren't using their old accounts?

It would really disappoint me, because of all the hard work I have put into getting my iPod.

4 referrals, not bad. Just go for one more from a friend and see what happens. If it doesn't work, try mp3players4free. Gratis is known to be unforgiving.

Yah. I't would really upset me if I or one of my referrals got put on hold. I've been doing freeipods since august, and I'm finally getting to the point where its all coming together.

I made an account for freeipods I didn't plan on using a few days before I made my current account. I informed customer service of the situation yesterday and I got a reply today saying I'll be fine as long as I don't use the old accounts I created. Either they find out now from you or in a week when you try to get the iPod so I'd tell them now. In my opinion, it looks better to fess up before a problem arises. Good luck.

try and finish. then if they put you on hold and make it 'asked my friends' instead of ask ;-)

I did make it ask my friends when I sent the message to them. I got an automated reply, with their TOS, and the ticket is still open.

Yes! This is the reply I got from Gratis!

"We have reviewed your account as well as past correspondence. You and your referrals will not be placed on hold as long as your friends do not use both their new and old accounts to register under you. Otherwise, as long as you and your friends use only your new accounts, then you should not experience any complications."

Phew! Congrats, hovigga! That was very understanding of Gratis. Hopefully it bodes well for others who are in the same situation. Good luck!!!

My last ref is pending. I think it will go green around 230 PM today because thats when she did the offer on friday, and it says 1-3 days for it.

congrats hovigga! as one of your refs in question im also relieved......i went green for another member a couple of days ago and he went for approval and was approved.....dont worry it was for FreePSPs not FreeiPods.......so all should go well.

hey congrats on that man. i had a similar problem and i sent a ticket in, they replied and said they had put my other accounts on hold that i wasnt using, so im fine with that i guess, as long as my account im using now isnt put on hold ).

Yah, im glad Gratis understood my situation. I was really worried!
