Apparently the DHL Reference number trick doesn't work with UPS, or else Gratis' reference number is modified when it's submitted to them. Anybody else had any luck with it? I'm hoping my DS shows up soon!

Well the prez day excuse is voided by their own acts, I just got my 6th green on the PSP site JUST now.
They are delaying these updates for a reason, and I think that is very irrisponsible.

I'm afraid you're just going to have to get over it DCJoeDog. Gratis has always fallen behind in the updating of accounts from STV to shipped - because most of the time you don't really CARE if it doesn't say shipped if you have the goods in your hand.
Gratis has a limited number of resources spread out across several different sites that they have to keep updated, verify accounts, sniff out frauds (I'm sure a lot of time is eaten up by that), and order stuff for folks. Sure that isn't an excuse, but I am personally not going to start berating Gratis because they've failed to inform me that my FREE xbox or whatever was shipped. I'm sure with some offers they can more easily determine when an item is shipped, but I'd have to imagine that for others they're never informed THEMSELVES that the item has shipped.
So, layoff man - enjoy your iPod, Sony TV, etc that you didn't have to pay for... Gratis (and others) are providing us with a pretty incredible service/opportunity - so what if they're not FedEx and able to keep our accounts updated every few seconds. If they were to do that, we'd have to get more referrals for every offer so they could cover the overhead...

Did you ever think that maybe the vendor is failing to communite when your item is shipped? So gratis doesnt know when to change your status to shipped? that is just one option, there could be a million reasons why they dont change it. You need to chill out and stop getting pissed about this.

And to all, Gratis is a company, and saying the items are free isn't totally true, it's free in the sense that we paid almost nothing upfront but we put in the time to advertise for them and earn them cash and subscribers. People say it is not really free and this and that. The fact is, IT IS free. Just because you have to pay to complete some offers or it takes time doesnt mean squat. When you complete an offer, like Blockbuster for example, you're paying for the service, you're not paying for the gaming system or whatever else you are going for. And as far as your time goes, it doesn't matter, you can put all the time in the world into this, you're still not paying any money. And please dont gimme that time is money garbage lol P

I think the answer is pretty simple - XBOX's are still not greatly available. Since Christmas they've been going in and out of stock with regularity. PS2 has not had the same problem. Microsoft basically came out with the Holiday Bundle which sold out pretty quickly and then they haven't really ramped things back up to replenish the system.
I'm amazed at how impatient people are regarding these things - especially when these are things that Gratis has no control over. Maybe its just because I had to wait over 2 months to get my iPod from the time it went STV, but I don't think so - you guys just need to relax. Screaming at Gratis isn't going to speed up the process for you in ANY WAY, and all it does is make them annoyed, take up resources answering stupid questions, and in the end you're still left with an unsatisfactory answer that you can't seem to get your head around.

Maybe they just like reading our stupid little threads fretting over where the XBOX's are. Or perhaps Gratis enjoys pitting one side of the gaming community against the other - why are we XBOX folks persecuted when the PS2 guys have already been gaming for weeks! Frankly the only logical answer is that inventories are low on the XBOX. If you hunt around the web you'll find that there is next to no availability on the standard $150 XBOX bundle. If huge retailers like EBGames, BestBuy and CircuitCity don't have stock, its safe to say there's some sort of shortage out there - all I see out there are the $200 DVD Bundles.
