What to do for unacknowledged referrals???

Well, I have gotten two people in the past to use my ipod link and legitimately sign up for gratis. Problem is, they never showed on my list, so I assumed they just never signed up for me. Got someone I know to sign up today, and their email doesn't show either. So now I'm out at LEAST three referrals (others may have attempted to sign up, don't know really), and I would expect gratis to do very little, because the story itself seems unbelievable.

Regardless, I've started talking to them through their help section. Does anyone else have any ideas on how I could get this remedied?

Login to FreeiPods.com and go to your Refer Friends section, copy and paste your referral link from there.

I did exactly that. Those are the links the people have been using. However, nothing from them is getting registered to me.

wow, that is strange, much be a glitch in the system, but hopefully customer svc will help resolve the problem, you could always have your referrals contact Gratis to confirm they signed up under your refferal link, that might help resolve it. Good Luck

That happened to me once. He could have been using firefox.

I'm having them do just that already. Hopefully it will help.

Ironically, I have 2 more people lined up to give me greens. I don't want to ask them to do that if gratis takes away my other three though. I'd be out some work and some cash just to have 2 referrals, that might not even end up being mine like the last few.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news...but Gratis cannot(/will not) retroactively link accounts. Perhaps if they discover a glitch in your account....but it's still unlikely.

the same thing happened to me. someone said they signed up using my link and went green but her email isn't even showing up in my list. i traded w/ other people before she signed up and the link worked for them, and then someone signed up under me after she supposedley registered and it worked fine for them too.

Oh well... I was hoping it didn't look that bad. Now I see where they make all their money from...

The people that did the offers were trustworthy, I just figured they had forgot or chosen not to do it. Today it became clear that the site was not doing something correctly because a friend signed up with the exact link provided to me by the site and completed everything as he should. And still, nothing on my page

So it's no longer me getting scammed by users, but by gratis too...hurray cry

Eh, this has happened to me four times. Twice last week, and twice this week. I'm wondering if your referrals were signing up on a Sunday afternoon, because that's when 4 of my referrals failed to show up. I've tried contacting Gratis, but they simply replied saying that my referrals must have signed up wrong and closed the inquiry. Good luck trying to contact them though!

Gratis are jerks. Big surprise there.

Oh well, guess they'll make money from me and move on. There is no way I'll find 5 other referrals

Referrals won't be credited if you're using firefox?? Hmm.. maybe THAT'S why. I signed up for an "instant" offer like more than a week ago, but it still hasn't given me credit for it. I assumed it would work with firefox becuase nowhere does Gratis indicate otherwise, and the popup with the instructions on how to complete the offer came up and everything.. damn it ?
