[quote4fcf4635a2="evilbearboomboom"]and travelers advantadge is instant credit![/quote4fcf4635a2]

wish it was on offercentric... still waiting for credit since february 1st.. it was only supposed to take 1 business day ?

WannaFS

Yes definitely non-sketchy. I enjoyed having Real Rhapsody until I got my iPod and put my CD collection on iTunes and then cancelled it. I think Rhapsody is now iPod compatible too, BTW. Its not a bad service, actually.

iPod compatable?

I have Rhapsody, and it seems you can only stream and burn cds, no dl to mp3 player option, or I'd use it with my flash based mp3 player.

WannaFS

08-02-2005 16:50:16

Unfortunately I'm not a member anymore and can't check for you, but when I cancelled my subscription they told me that users would soon be able to download music to mp3players, including iPod.

If I remember correctly (and I could be wrong), Apple was even threatening to sue Real for copyright infringement or something like that for allowing iPod compatibility...

From their faq

[quotec259b5f1fe]
6. Can I get downloads in Rhapsody?
No. Rhapsody is an on-demand streaming service. This means you don't have to wait for downloads to listen to CD-quality music. Once you've used it for a while, you may never want to download a music file again. If you want to take your music with you, we offer CD burning for an additional fee per track, when you are subscribed to the All Access subscription plan at $9.95 per month.

If you're looking for portability beyond the CD player, stay tuned, because we are working on bringing Rhapsody to wireless and net-attached consumer electronic devices in the near future.

I have a feeling it will be 'coming' for a long time.

WannaFS

Maybe their FAQ should say "Pending litigation by Apple Computer, stay tuned.... lol

oh man, i want to use that as my own offer but i don't want it to disappear for my refs either (rumor or not i'm gonna stick to it just in case). it's the perfect offer- instant, free and non-sketchy.

can you burn songs for 79 cents each during the free trial?

evilbearboomboom

08-02-2005 20:03:45

PENGUIN-

well i know for me, all the offers i completed have not shown up for any of my referrals...

better safe then sorry! idea i guess they had to throw a free trial out of the two blockbuster is now? what like 9.95 ? and supposed to be instant? even after paying.... cripes! !

09-02-2005 14:13:54

If I get a referral to complete this offer, will it become unavailable to other referrals? (I've already completed a non-RealRhapsody offer, so thats not an issue). Its not THAT big of a deal if only one of my referrals can do it, but if more can, that'd be EXTREME!

09-02-2005 14:16:54

Also, does anyone have any knowledge about how to "go from having a RealRhapsody account to not having one," if you know what I mean. PM me.

Wait so this Rhapsody is free? On free Gamming systems.com it says you need to pay the 14.99 a month.. is this true? ?

thomas moore

09-02-2005 17:00:11

real-rhapsody is a free two week trial...
if you dislike the service, which is a good service to me at least, then see customer service theres a number there you can call 1.866.----- i hope that helps...

--------------------------------

and from my experience when you complete an offer it is no longer available to your referrals... maybe different for other users but i know its a definite problem for me. arrow

for the real rhapsody offer, it says sign up for the 14 day free trial and pay 14.99. does that mean you have to actually pay for credit to happen ?
