Yes definitely non-sketchy. I enjoyed having Real Rhapsody until I got my iPod and put my CD collection on iTunes and then cancelled it. I think Rhapsody is now iPod compatible too, BTW. Its not a bad service, actually.

iPod compatable?
I have Rhapsody, and it seems you can only stream and burn cds, no dl to mp3 player option, or I'd use it with my flash based mp3 player.

Unfortunately I'm not a member anymore and can't check for you, but when I cancelled my subscription they told me that users would soon be able to download music to mp3players, including iPod.
If I remember correctly (and I could be wrong), Apple was even threatening to sue Real for copyright infringement or something like that for allowing iPod compatibility...

From their faq
[quotec259b5f1fe]
6. Can I get downloads in Rhapsody?
No. Rhapsody is an on-demand streaming service. This means you don't have to wait for downloads to listen to CD-quality music. Once you've used it for a while, you may never want to download a music file again. If you want to take your music with you, we offer CD burning for an additional fee per track, when you are subscribed to the All Access subscription plan at $9.95 per month.
If you're looking for portability beyond the CD player, stay tuned, because we are working on bringing Rhapsody to wireless and net-attached consumer electronic devices in the near future.

I have a feeling it will be 'coming' for a long time.

If I get a referral to complete this offer, will it become unavailable to other referrals? (I've already completed a non-RealRhapsody offer, so thats not an issue). Its not THAT big of a deal if only one of my referrals can do it, but if more can, that'd be EXTREME!

Also, does anyone have any knowledge about how to "go from having a RealRhapsody account to not having one," if you know what I mean. PM me.

real-rhapsody is a free two week trial...
if you dislike the service, which is a good service to me at least, then see customer service theres a number there you can call 1.866.----- i hope that helps...
--------------------------------
and from my experience when you complete an offer it is no longer available to your referrals... maybe different for other users but i know its a definite problem for me. arrow
