No, Dell probably told them to take Dell's copyrighted picture off of the Gratis website.

makes sense. i just wasnt sure since it just displays Dell Computer also. I dont recall what if anything changed when it went from the P4 to the Celeron

If dell told me to take the picture off my website and I was ordering 100's of their computers, id say flilili you and buy gateways or something.

Still, I'm sure's Dell's reasoning (If they did ask) was that the Dell image was being used for an offer to get their product free, when they are trying to SELL that item, and that Gratis never asked in the first place.
It would serve them right, if Gratis moved on to another brand, though.

Umm... the people may be getting the Dell for free but Dell still earns the money for every free computer sent out. Also, whoever said he'd tell Dell to fuck off is an idiot because if you say that Dell wouldn't mind to get one of their overpaid lawyers who don't have too much to do to start building a case against you. I doubt Gratis want a lawsuit on their ass.
