What happens when I'm not home and the DHL man comes with my iPod? Does he just take it back with him and come the next day?

I was across the street at the park with my son when DHL came. I just caught him driving away. He had left a note that said "final attempt to deliver, package may be picked up after (Date) at this location (Address)"
Glad I caught him because the note said "2/7" would have had to wait until Monday... and I wouldn't be listening to it right now!!
