Long story short I'm only 16, so I had to ask my parents before signing up (I don't think that' actually in the T&C, but they'd kill me if an iPod magically arrived in the mail). They couldn't tell whether or not this is a scam, so they said to ask my older brother (who knows a lot about phishing, pyramid schemes, and the like). If he said yes, I could sign up.
I asked him and he told me he tried it a few months ago and got nothing but a few sites with confusing layouts, a bunch of spam, and had his personal info sold to various third parties. I'm fairly sure he's thinking of another "free iPods" site, but I can't seem to convince him - or my parents - otherwise.
I'd love to have an iPod of my own, since my mp3-CD player is dying. Any thoughts on how I can prove this isn't a scam or a setup?
