Well I while back a friend of mine started the Freepay 360 site. He got 7 greens (pretty fast too, I was surprised) and he was so excited. Well he told his mom and she thought she'd give him a little surprise. She signed up under his link and did an offer (in the same house) without him knowing. When he found out about it, he thought he was screwed and he got really pissed.

He tried his luck with contacting Freepay CS and explaining the situation and they said this ---

[quote5ae33c7faa]Thank you for contacting FreePay Customer Service. We placed your mom's account on hold. You are free to request approval and you won't be penalized for your dad's sign up as we believe it was an honest mistake however; if any of your other referrals is found to be in violation of our Terms and Conditions they will be placed on hold. Sincerely, The FreePay Customer Service Team[/quote5ae33c7faa]

shock

I was amazed. I thought Freepay would ignore his ticket and wait for him to request approval only to place him on hold... but no. What a nice Christmas gift from Freepay to him. It's also kind of funny how they say it's his mom's account in one sentence then in the next sentence they say it's his dad's account. They might want to lay off the W33D when answering tickets. lol

they can still find another person who is in "violation" of their terms and conditions and screw him that way.

Don't be surprised if they send him an original XBOX instead of the 360. ;)

Freepay has always been reasonable. My friend signed up under himself 4 times back when Freeipods.com just opened, and they just put his other accounts on hold. They even left the other legit green on his account.

That is when it just opened - not now.

i dont think i was suprised by this, were used to the new freebie sites like free4me or ordercash or some others that will take any oportunity to put someone on hold even when it wasnt right to do so
