Hey dude, I got a bug from your program. Tried to post it on your site's forum boards but apparently lengthy picture extensions are not allowed? In any rate, here it is -

[ba87c37cd27]EDIT[/ba87c37cd27] ??? Now what? No .bmp'surl==http://=http:///url on here or something? Grr, I'm tired of all this.

amaivis.... that isn't a bug with ICFreePod necessarily..
I've had a similar problem, but it was related to the GRATIS webservice and database cross-linking me.
When I had that problem, I attempted to log into the 2 accounts that were having troubles and noticed that they didn't work, or contained inaccurate data.
That is what you're experiencing.. and its generally not nice to laugh at bugs in someone elses programs and call it "good". Especially in the case where the "bug" isn't really a bug, but a problem with the main site.
Edit godrockdj.. when do you get that? can you provide any information as to what you were trying to do at the time, or what particular actions cause it to happen?
If it happens on startup, then do you have the .NETurl==http://=http:///url Framework 1.1 linked from my site installed? it is a pre-requisit that you must have it installed for the program to function properly, and it is recommended that once you install 1.1 from my site, you download and install the SP1 from Windows Update.

As you can see, 'm not a pro at determinating which is an error or which one is the site's fault.
And yes, your program is good. I didn't mean to offend you in any way.
Sorry.

That would be because you're missing the .NETurl==http://=http:///url 1.1 Framework that is listed as needed. The link is on my site in the About section, or you should also run Windows Update once in a while and get all the needed updates.
Edit
As for the OfferCentric.. I've made a couple of attempts to get in contact with OfferCentric about an official webservice or other means of collecting the data, and they have been extremely less than cooperative.. as if they do not care. I do not particularly want to go about scraping the HTML and ensuring that the data is always updated and accurate, not to mention, I deleted all my old libraries I used to do it before in ICFreePod for Gratis originally. The only way I can really see myself adding any OfferCentric stuff in the near future is if they either provide a WebService or some other "official" means for getting the data, or if I get a LOT of free time and feel like signing up for all their offers. I doubt either is going to happen in the near future.

Just curious, since this program accesses your accounts, how safe is it? It is possible that your account information could be sent to the author of this program. I would be a bit cautious about utilizing a program like this.

If you're worried, then you can do some things to check yourself...
1) install a firewall that prompts on EVERY application connection to the internet. Run ICFreePod and verify each connection manually.. you'll see that it never connects outside of the Gratis Network IPs or sites you specify in the UpdateURL
2) run a packet sniffer and do the same thing.. monitor all traffic sent from and received by ICFreePod. Same applies as above ... only sites you'll see are the ones that are supposed to be there.
3) Disassemble the program and try to find connections.. this is a little bit harder considering I make the code hard to read on purpose to keep people from stealing it... but it IS possible to do.. I wouldn't recommend option 3 however.
Not that I can really say "trust me!" and have a whole bunch of people believe me, but you can trust me. I maintain another 3rd party application for an Online Role Playing Game called Asheron's Call and my program allows the storage and use of over 3000 users' usernames and passwords. Not once has a user EVER been able to accurately accuse me of stealing information. Sure.. some have tried, but they all lacked ANY kind of proof. I don't want your accounts.. I can't really do anything with your accounts, and my reputation as a developer is far greater than anything your accounts could give me.
If that doesn't convince you, then that is up to you, but after all is said and done, I'm a trustworthy person, and a little bit of research on me can prove that.

I know, isn't it awesome! I freak out.
That's too bad about OC. It would help people tremendously to add them on to the program.

OfferCentric is actually working on something. They contacted me a while ago with their plans. It should be about as easy as Gratis, so once they get it operational, I'll see if I can test it out and get a new version of ICFreePod made for it.

that was explained previously... most likely the database got crossed and the webservice is returning the wrong data.. this was proven by logging into the website and attempting to access the data.. either it would lock up, return an error, or return inaccurate data.
ICFreePod is working correctly as intended, but the webservice is not.

FreePsps hasn't even been added to the Webservice yet.. so I cannot add it to ICFreePod until it has been added to the WebService.
As for OfferCentric, still no news on when they'll have their WebService stuff complete, which means I can't even start work on it until they give me something to work with.
