Track before shipped? All you would get is sitting in Sony Warehouse... or whatever tv you're getting.

hahaa...yea...but i was comparing that to FIP where many people (like me) were STV for at least a month...some even two months....it got to the point where STV didn't really mean much and told you nothing about when your item might arrive...
with FFS...its pretty set that they send out in about a week =)

Nice to hear that. I still remember the STV nightmare back in September/October with the freeiPods.com. Hope this gets shipped faster. And it was far faster than before - requested approval on Friday, approved yesterday, and STV today... Nice)

i tried my order # and my zip code in there and it said no order found
ill try again in a couple days, DHL track by reference always took a couple days after STV to show up

i just asked a friend of mine who is 1/19 STV as well
and he got a call on THURSDAY from the company who is shipping them out, and he said he will have it by monday!
i have not gotten a call yet, has anyone else...?

My Wega arrived today! My account still showed STV, waiting for product, and I wasn't able to track it. I also didn't receive a call. Luckily, someone was home to receive it. This is my first free item - I feel like I won a million dollars. D

When I got home and got the tv out of the box (weighs a ton!!) sadly it wasn't packaged properly and has a big dent on the front of it, and is smashed in on the upper left side. I am trying to contact Gratis Support and Sony to get another one, but this is turning into a nightmare to get to talk to someone. Hopefully I'll get another. roll
Did everyone else's come in OK?

if the fedex place is still open you can go down to it after the truck comes back and pick it up in person.
Actually, I like having stuff delivered to the fedex center, then they call you when they get it, and you pick it up. That way you don't play tag with the delivery guy.

I'm still STV and they attempted delivery today. I'm at college and no one will be at my house to sign for it until Friday, so I called them up and told them to attempt delivery again on Friday.

So obviously they come from different vendors... Had my Samsung shipped with (what looks like) USPS, without purchased tracking service... Well, I have to wait to next week to get it anyways, but it's good to know they did ship it so fast... And I hope there aren't any problems with it, as with WEGAs.

the WEGA's get "shipped"? i always thought they just came straight from Sony warehouses after they call and make a delivery appointment...

DARN! got a call from the Sony delivery company saying they had a driver call in sick today...and so they had to cancel my TV delivery tomorrow....
now i have to wait until monday...haha
you'd think they'd just bring in a backup driver or something....no way they go around canceling appointments whenever someone calls in sick...o well...3 more days wont kill me...
