Umm it just keep saying do not disconnect.......I disconnected it once before when it said that and haven't been able to connect since.........any fix, or is it garbage?

It's called following the proper directions. Every iPod user knows you can't do this. You might have to reset your firmware. Hold Menu and Play together for a while until it resets. You should be fine now.
Don't make the same mistake again!

I would also like to stress to all ipodders, dont disconnect when it says do not disconnect or you will have to go through alot to get your ipod back working......
