A while ago I read that signing up for mp3players4free/freeipods.com gives you a LOT of spam email. However, I haven't noticed much spam in my inbox. Maybe 2 spam-type emails in all the days that I have been signed up. Has anybody actually experienced massive spammage? I wouldn't want that to happen to my referrals (friends, people online, etc.).

I signed up for a huge number of these sites using my 'spam' email address, and I can't say that I've suffered a drive by spamming yet.

I'm just hoping it continues to be like that.

Yeah, I signed up for FreeiPods and mp3players4free using 1 email address. I just checked my inbox again, and I have a total of 3 spam emails. I also noticed that they are from the same source, so I simply clicked on the unsubscribe button at the bottom of the page. Hope that will lower my spam count to 0.

I've gotten some spam, but I don't think it was from Gratis.

I've gotten the same amount of spam that I normally get.

i know gratis spammed me because when I logged onto the email address - the spam emails with my first name was with a lowercase d (david), and the only time i used a lowercase d to signup for something was for free ipods.
