Naw, I got like 5 referrals on the mini mac since wednesday. Mostly trades and online ppl I know who I suckered into getting the product.
If I would've signed up for the shuffle, I could've had enough greens by now. Didn't want it cuz I already have an mp3 player that plays ogg vorbis. Only 512 Mb tho.

I finished saturday night myself, it was actually quite easy to get the required referrals for it. In fact I got 4 greens for it, it was surprisingly easy. Apparently lots of people are interested in it, atleast the ones i was lucky enough to run into.

I would say a period of about 48 hrs. -) but I've been processing ever since. I had a question for the people who have done this stuff before.
Do I have to wait for a certain number of people to complete their orders and then we all have our products mailed out at the same time?

yeah usually gratis waits until a specific time (maybe twice a month) when they send out huge batch orders for products
hopefully im approved and ordered by the time the first shipment goes out )

The vendor(ecost) is out of both minimacs and shuffles for like another 2 or 3 weeks i heard...i requested approval saterday and still approving.

Thank gosh I completed Gratis and shuffleipods4free. Shuffleipods4free offers the cash option instead. So does OC! Now I can get the cash, and buy mine from the Apple store!

Mine went on hold, but then I got some help from the president of Gratis via a post at imonhold.com, and my account is cleared and I am cleared to place my order. Unfortunately right now there is a bug in their system that won't allow me to check out, but they're working on it as we speak.
But I guess then the real wait will begin.....I just read that the Shuffles are on b/o for 4 weeks from Apple. (

I'm thinking I'm one of the first ones in queue for shipping since I'm still processing -(. I'll keep my fingers crossed and just be glad I got this far this fast (look at my join date -D).

Anybody willing to take it upon themselves to try and contact ecost by email and see if they could tell us if they are handling gratis orders on the shuffles and if they are by when we could expect a shipment? Not desperate to know but just throwing suggestions out there. I tried to do it myself but I needed an account in order to contact their cust service dept.

ecost wouldnt have any shuffles yet, just cuase apple when they release a product there the only ones that can sell it for the first month

Yeah...it's gonna be 4 weeks minimum. I'm thinking I wont see mine till March. Thats alright....I'm sure I'll get my iRiver long before that....the shuffle will just be fluff...I may even give it to my dad for the gym.

That modification doesn't really deal with the big features of the iPod shuffle which is no moving parts and a very low mass.
