hey guys quick questions

I am moving at the end of December. I know we probably wont be seeing our ps3 till mid next year.

When I change my address they will cancel my order and submit a new one. Does this put me at the end of the line or do I keep my position. I finished this site a LONG time ago so I would like to keep my spot.

Thanks for any info...

I'm sure they haven't really ordered the PS3 yet, since no vendor is actually taking orders. Why not open a ticket explaining the situation and ask for your address to be changed? That shouldn't reset your account or anything, they can just update it. shrug

I wouldn't be surprised if they did send you back to Processing. shrug Who knows.

Send thema support ticket and explain they should be able to change it without canceling the order.

I already encountered this situation myself, created a support ticket, and got this response

It would be best to leave your order as is at the current address to make sure you keep your order date. We are working on PS3 availability to help prevent long delays.

I moved to a new apartment back in June (out of my parents' house) and I'd like to change the shipping address for my PS3 to my new address ___so long as it does not affect my place in line___. If it will affect my place in line then I want to leave the address and have it shipped to my parents' house..[details removed].. Last question is Freepay securing some PS3 units at the time of launch or pre-ordering from a retailer so that we won't have to wait endless months (like the xbox 360 fiasco)? Any info is appreciated. Thank you.

I ordered on January 18th thus why risk getting put at the back of the line.

I'm in the same situation here, I asked them once and they wanted me to cancel my order and reorder.

Hell no...

I decided to contact them about it a little later when it was close to the PS3 release. I haven't contacted them yet though. I would rather call up the new residents at my old address and have them ship me the item than have my order canceled.

I need to have my address for my order updated. I was informed that my current order can be UPDATED instead of canceled. I finished the site early and do not want to get put at the end of the line, when I finished the site almost a year ago. thank in advance
