Well, in the light of Blockbuster being gone, what do you think is the best offer at this point?

Also, when do you think there will be better offers?

It's only 1/16/05? So how can you post as 1/17/05? Further...how would you determine what the "best" offer is, when everyone has their own interests?

The best offer for me is one without a credit card. Most of my friends don't want to use a CC. Any of those around?

no all offers need a credit card!!!!! Everyone needs to realize that credit cards are a big factor in these deals thats how these companies make money by people signing up with credit cards for services or products. These companies are legit you shouldnt feel paranoid giving them your CC #. THERE ARE NO NON CC OFFERS!!!! Not on legit sites anyways, they may have free trials but you still need a CC!

What about the offers that want you to sign up for a CC?

Sure, they may be slow, and you have to have friends with decent credit... but I assume that they aren't lying about giving you credit if you complete the requirements.

That ifreegear guy on here said that there was an AOL offer on iFreeGear that didn't require a credit card. So I sign up and there it is- a credit card sign up. It was just a free trial offer. So yeah, all the offers really do need credit cards.

I wouldn't risk it. Just buy them a webcertificate off of www.webcertificate.com

webcertificates r the best you dont have to worry about them charging it a second time

Yes those don't need a credit card but they run a credit check which needs your social security # which in my opinion is worse then to get credit for the offer you must accept the card who wants to do all that to avoid giving their credit card # which is secure from unauthorized transactions.

I'm gonna go with Real Rhapsody just becasue thats the next best offer that I'm interested in after Blockbuster. It's not instant but it's a good service. Two of my friends did it and thought it was cool.

No, all offers really do NOT need credit cards. Unless AOL has completed changed their sign-up process, they accept debit cards and checking account numbers as well. Same with NetZero, so basically, if the offer claims it doesn't require a credit card its because it requires a debit card or checking account, or both.

Hmmm... All I saw was the credit card sign up. But maybe I'm just being ignorant. I probably am. Your probably right.

Yes thats correct offers but they still need some sort of way to charge you i think what people mean by is there no cc offer is that they can signup and never worry about being billed which is not possible.
