Ever since they shipped out those Ipod Nanos (gave us the old ones, those bastards!) seems like they haven't shipped anything else to us lately. I'm STV on my Ipods and 360 accounts, hope they arrive somedayyyyy now.

I'm in Quebec and have been STV on my 30GB iPod since mid-September. I know I'll [idaf34d5fb9]eventually[/idaf34d5fb9] get it.

This whole experience has taught me patience. So many of my friends are asking me to explain how FreePay works, and whether it's worth it.

My answer? "Can you be patient enough to wait up to a year in order to receive a FREE item that will already be old news by the time you get it?"

Most of my friends admit they're not that patient.

Oh no!

Sent to Vendor, Estimated Ship Date " "

That's right, you read that correctly. No estimate was even given! Btw, this is for my iPods AND Xbox 360 accounts. Yay...!?!?

I'm glad you brought this up, [b60bf3fa9b9]kala[/b60bf3fa9b9] - I got the very same update today, but decided to hold off mentioning it in the forums until my support ticket got answered.

I'd like to believe that a bunch of us slated for the next shipment got updated at the same time, but the update message was incomplete or buggy. Maybe we'll see an update by tomorrow, if we're lucky!

Lets hope so!

Any updates anyone? DCoop went shipped on his ipods!

Btw, lousib what did you ask/say in your support ticket and did it get answered?

My account status has been changed to "Sent to Vendor, Estimated Ship Date", but there is no text after the words 'Estimated Ship Date'. It looks like I ought to see a date, but nothing is displayed. Is there any additional information available? Has my status actually changed from "Sent to Vendor, Waiting on Product"?

Incidentally, I will post in this thread as soon as I see an update. )

I just got a call from Purolator (not Canada Post) saying I have a package, same tracking as was posted on freepay.

Started processing Sept 6, STV about Oct 18, shipped on Oct 20th.

I never had an Estimated Ship Date with my STV notice, I did have just "Estimated Ship Date 11/23/2006" for a few hours, then it just said "Sent to Vendor" with no date for a few days before "Shipped"

kala

25-10-2006 13:37:44

Congrats DCoop. I checked my accounts today and they both (iPods and 360) say, "Status - Sent to Vendor, Estimated Ship Date 11/24/2006"

Hopefully, they come in a lot earlier, like it did for DCoop!

I just checked and my status was changed to [bf68d1508a0]Sent to Vendor, Estimated Ship Date 11/24/2006[/bf68d1508a0].

I sent a new ticket this morning to follow up on my ticket from ast week. I really, really hope they send us tracking numbers ASAP. The truth is I just moved, and even though I have access to my previous address I'm concerned about Purolator returning the item to FreePay. I forwarded my mail for six months with Canada Post, but I don't think that will impact Purolator.. ?

Purolator and Canada Post work alongside each other I beleive. Don't worry about it. Should be redirected to you.

Thanks for the encouragement. I did some digging and found that Canada Post owns approximately a 96% interest in Purolator[=http//www.purolator.com/media/corporate/corporate_history.html]Canada Post owns approximately a 96% interest in Purolator. Still, after calling Purolator myself, they insisted that I would not be able to change the address on this thing unless I could provide them with a tracking number.

I know some would say I should have cancelled my order and reapplied with my new address. Perhaps they're right, but I've gone beyond the point of no return now..

Shipped! for Xbox 360, but I can't track it. They provided me the tracking, but they don't tell you with which courier they ship with! I tried Canada Post, Purolator, DHL and UPS. No luck!

Congrats, man! You must be so happy! D

If you want, post (or PM me) the first couple characters of the tracking number, and maybe we can figure out who will ship it. I'm a bit perplexed, trying to think of what other company would ship this to you.

Note, too, that many shipping companies don't automatically have tracking data the instant a tracking number is issued. Maybe you need to try all those couriers again in 12 hours and you might get a hit. I figured that we'd either get Canada Post or Purolator..

Did you try FedEx? I didn't see it on your list.

kala

01-11-2006 13:23:08

Sure am happy! I was hoping to see my Ipod Video also shipped, but it wasn't.

Tried FedEx, no luck again. Here's some of the tracking 72311lilililililililililili

I think I just have to wait a bit like you said. Same thing happened to me with my laptop I just shipped to someone. The tracking didn't work for 2 days, and today it finally worked.

YAHOOO!! Got my Xbox 360 Premium system today! It's so beautiful and pretty darn heavy. It was ordered from my local Best Buy and it has a unit price of $500 D, does anyone know if they take returns. I would rather take the cash! Please let me know, anyone!

Thanks

This is the one they sent me http//www.bestbuy.ca/catalog/proddetail.asp?logon=&langid=EN&sku_id=0926INGFS10080318&catid=23383

Very sweet! I think the word is out that returns are becoming less and less likely.

Who did they end up shipping through?

kala

02-11-2006 13:15:37

I hope they take the return. I would end up with about $570 bucks! It was Canada Post, the tracking worked late last night.

Think this is it? Have eight long months of support tickets, nail biting, and anticipation culminated to this glorious moment?

I called Canada Post to discuss mail rerouting - they think the postman will either leave a delivery notification card at my old address or my new address.

I'll keep you updated! D

I think so, Yes - that movie just came out not long ago, and would have highlighted the iPod's ability to play movies. I definately think you got it. I can't wait - Canada Post still hasn't updated since last night, where it went from Windsor to London. I have to wait for it to come to Montreal, but I'm sure it will be today (if not, then tomorrow).

It's just 1% partly skimmed milk (not the real water-like skimmed). My wife and I have been fighting the milk wars since 2001 (2% vs 1%).

Needless to say, we've compromised and gone with ... 1% ...
