Weight for shipment?

Well I went shipped for laptops today, but I have checked the status with UPS, and it says that the package is 1.10 Lbs. The Macbook is about 5 Lbs. How does this work?

Maybe they sent you a shirt or clock too.

I just can't wait to get this from them. I will have received a 60GB iPod and this, so I think I'm done with them now.

well tomorrow's the big day! UPS says that it finally arrived in denver today and will be delivered tomorrow. We'll see if it really is the actual laptop... hahaha

Obviously, I"m not settling for a 70 dollar item. I want my MacBook. I already called PC Mall and told them the problem, but they told me to contact Freepay. I emailed Freepay, but know that they won't respond.

What should I do?

thanks for the advice. seriously, anyone have this happen to them before? What do I do?

I bet it's just a mistake when they ordered it, keep emailing them and they will fix it. just might take a little bit of time.

I was once shipped a 20GB iPod instead of a 60GB. I contacted Gratis, and they said as long as I didn't open the iPod box, to just reseal the outer box, and hand it back to a driver from the same carrier, telling them it's a mistake, and to return it to sender.

I'm not saying to just do that though. Contact them first.

Okay, maybe I'm a sadistic blistard, but I have to say that I laughed a little when reading this.

I'd contact freepay directly to resolve this. An email will probably work, but may take some time as they are not the most responsive bunch. A few other posts around here reference how to contact via phone.

Absolutely. I was told to do that by Gratis after they declined to pay for return shipping.

A support ticket might be enough, but my correspondence was email based. I'm uncertain whether or not it's "cool" to post Gratis email addresses here, though.

I called the CEO of Freepay yesterday, and WHAT A SURPRISE!!! This morning first thing, I get a response to ALL of my support tickets. They've already sent my MacBook and gave me a new tracking number... this time with a weight of 9 LBS!!! lol

Nice, did you actually get ahold of the CEO or found his voicemail? How did you get the number?

my laptop shipment still dosn't show any weight or info so I am hoping I dont also get a hard drive ( we will see later this week

just got my premium ipod and even though customer service said it would be a new 80gb model it was a 60 gb model. also it just was marked shipped yesterday and arrived today normal ups?
