I logged onto my laptops account today (as I do every single day about 5 times a day- roll ) and saw that my status has finally changed to SHIPPED for my MacBook!!! D This is a good day.

just logged in now. im in STV.. this is my first try at free shit. i was just gunna ask if there is another status beyond "STV" but i guess you answered my question.. so my account will say "Shipped" ? after STV?

I was approved on 8/9. Which one did you order, stagim? I forgot. I think that the MacBooks are being shipped out first, because I know Tholek ordered a Vaio, and he hasn't gone shipped yet.

i ordered the ibook which once they said they will offer the macbook now shows the macbook. I was approved on 7/19/2006 125800 PM. and origionally sent my form in around the end of march?
Still STV and waiting.

Your laptop order was placed with our vendor. The Sony model you ordered was not in stock and we have placed an order for a similar Sony model with updated specs. As soon as tracking becomes available we will provide for you in your account.
Sweet.. that means its coming with a 100gb HD not a 80gb )

Sony VAIO FS940... if you google it or look on newegg it.. its updated with a dbl layer dvdr+w burner,100gb Hd.. use to be reg dvd burner and 80gb.. even tho i should be greatful i wish they could have bumped up the ram to 1gb.

I hate to tell you, but the FS940 is, and was, what's listed on laptops.freepay,
That was what I was referring to. PCMall listed FS920 specs on their FS940 listing, and apparently Gratis copied it. Now did people get the 920 in the past? Yup, but laptops.freepay stated it's a 940, and specs on freepay sites have traditionally been less than what's correct.
I suppose if you're a "glass half full" or "make lemons out of lemonade" type, you might consider that an upgrade, but I expected the 940, so it's not quite an upgrade to me. (
