Would I get credit for a friend's offer if I let him use my credit card to sign up for an offer? or is there validation on CC numbers?

I do believe that would violate privacy policies for the offer to share credit card information with freeipods.

I don't believe gratis can legally see the information you signed up under. But it might be considered breaking the rules since he'd be signing up as you and advertisers don't want the same person signing up for every ad. they want new people. but yea, www.webcertificate.com
