Women vs. Men?

I have a few questions that have been nagging me. First, as far as I can see I am possibly the only female on this forum. At least the only active one. Are there any others? Random curiosity. Looks like a majority of males.

And before you go "BANNINATION", this does have to do with freeiPods. I've found that even though absolutely none of my friends have been willing to complete an offer under me (still stuck w/ all yellows), the males seem to be slightly more interested and willing than the females. Has anyone else found this also? My female friends are just skeptical right off the bat and unwilling to try it all. Thoughts?

There are quite a few females on the forums, and I don't really know if sex makes a difference in skepticism.

I'm a woman, but I have shared your observation. Especially my college-aged female friends (and I go to an all-women's college, which made referral-getting impooooossible) were very skeptical, while I had the best luck with college-aged and even older high school-aged guys. My theory My male friends spend way less money on clothes and make-up than my female friends, so they were less hesitant to drop $5-10 on shipping and handling or whatever small fee goes along with some of the offers.

i think in our world today there are more males interested in technology. i mean, sure, we all use it from day to day, but its the reason Virginia [ba411fb9b4d]tech [/ba411fb9b4d]is 70% male, but I'm not trying to say your ability to recruit referrals depends on whether or not you are technology savvy. what it really boils down to, is if you are a trusted person within your group of friends? also, if you are as serious as people need you to be. I've noticed some people think they can get referrals by throwing this line at them; "want a free ipod? go here (referral link)". We all know thats just not how it works. i do believe the female aspect is a disadvantage, but you can definitely still get referrals, just as good, if not better than most males. you really have to work at it, and know what your talking about/who your dealing with. good luck!

Actually, I don't think there is any differences...

I am a woman, I get my referals from both. In fact, most of my referals for my mini ipod were from women. And here is why, I posted my referal links on my livejournal. Most of my friends there are women and most of the visitors are also women, that explains why.

So tips are, post your ref links on ur blogs, aim/yahoo messengers and good luck.

LOL, I'm not "unhappy" about this post. It's nice to see a call out of sorts to get all the women "out of the woodwork."

Hi woman! You definitely haven't been posting that much. )

Btw, shifuimam is the reason I trusted the system. Us women have to stick together! wink
