They're not "making an additional $50". Their 50/ref payout is killing them slowly from all of us "pros". The offers they put up on their site vary from like $15-$40 payout per lead. They're actually losing more money than other indy/non-corporate structured networks who raise their referral requirements and set higher payout offers for higher credit payouts, therefore making money regardless of completions.
They'll be able to hopefully "make" more money from charging five referrals. They don't have to bump it down to four or anything, they were charging 5 refs for a PSP as well which means they've been charging a referral less, if anything, or doing a $60/ref on the iPods site all along.

You would think... that they would need to wait for Apple to start shipping them as well.
Hopefully in the upcoming months this will happen.

Do they even offer the 60GB video iPod anymore? Apple's site has the 30GB model and the 80GB model...
While I'm sure there are plenty of 60GB's left on the shelves out there, by the time FreePay gets around to doing anything, perhaps it'll be an 80GB iPod that shows up at all our doors... roll

I bet they will wait for some refurbished 60's that are under $150 in a few months and then ship out.

You would think they're getting paid $15-40 payout per lead; but I highly doubt it. They probably have negotiated with the companies direclty and worked out a much higher payout than that. That's just an assumption though, you could very well be right.

No. Do you see the offers Freepay offers? There's no way they get paid anything [be1427039e1]drastically[/be1427039e1] over that $15-$40 range.

Yeah, I'm not exactly sure where you read that, but I never said they were getting $50 per referral. I said, "basically FreePay is making an additional $50 on us". With simple math skills you can deduce that when someone is suddenly only having to pay $249 for a product they once were shelling out $299 for, that results in them keeping $50 bucks in their own pocket. Those $50 discounts accumulate and allows FreePay to have much healthier cash flow. Which, in turn, then allows them to buy more shit for sniveling bitches that whore themselves out for free gear.

Right. It's all good. This might speed Freepay up =D

Or, I guess, if Freepay is ordering them all from PCMall, then they are only paying $244 per. So, add an additional $5 bucks to their savings. Doesn't seem like much, but if you take that total amount saved ($55), over 100s of ipods purchased, it can add up to a very significant amount.
Bottom line is that if they can't afford to send out product now, they never will.
