I decided to check my ipod status only to find
We apologize for the inconvenience, but we are currently making modifications to our systems.

Hopefully this is for the better.

yeah i looked at the shop freepay site and it said that they are moving servers, to a better one. Hopefully this has an impact on the rate in which they ship out gifts...

Hmmm, if true, that might finally clear up the infamous timeouts when checking your status.

Wishful thinking. Does a shops service improve by moving down the road? No.

That analogy really isn't apropos. Server problems can affect the processing and approval process too, lengthening the time it takes to get to those steps.

How so? By the few miliseconds longer it takes to process a request? It would only be an improvement if it prevented downtime, which FreePay hasnt really had alot of, due to server problems anyway.

My point is FreePays delays are not due to server problems, and any improvement is likely to be minimal.

I'll agree that improvement is likely to be minimal, to us anyhow, but Freepay [iaf172ab83d]has[/iaf172ab83d] had downtime, and the site timeout issue lasts for longer than a few milliseconds, I can tell you. It surely has had some impact on the referral database. Past downtime occurences led to claims of lost referrals.

It should be [iaf172ab83d]some[/iaf172ab83d] kind of improvement, anyhow.
