PeoplePC offer

I just signed up for People PC and when I tried to download the software it said you have already done this offer. I am certain I have not. Is this an offer where if my referrals do the offer I can't? Anyone else have difficulty with this offer?

question about PeoplePCOnline offer...

I read on ratetheoffers.com that if you complete the PeoplePCOnline offer and don't download the software, you'll still get credit and you don't even have to cancel the thing and you won't get charged a cent. anyone tried that?

yeah i know people that did that and they never even dl the program. i just completed it myself im waiting on credit. i dont plan on ever using it or dl the software.

well ive never heard of that but i guess i will have to install it and run it a few times. have the 12-10 STV for the photo shipped yet or is it just yours, because i dont think they shipped yet

were you already credited on FreeiPods? If you were, then it's not due to not completing PeoplePC. It is probably due to a backorder on the iPod, and you'll eventually receive yours

Well, you can't get to STV without being credited, so yeah. ;)

Incidentally, I'm STV for the iPod Photo, not the 20GB (got that awhile ago), it's just that this thread seemed the most relevant PeoplePC thread.

i think the photos just havent shipped i dont think its anything you did or didnt do

If you don't want to download the software, just have the disc mailed to you. You should be credited whether you actually use the service or not. Additionally, as far as I know if you don't use the service at all you will never have to cancel.

The email I posted would seem to cast doubt on that.....

I did finally receive credit for the PeoplePC offer , took about 1.5 weeks.
