i don't mean to be mean...but it doesnt look very legit...looks like someone trying to rip off of people's generocity...

IMO, i would donate directly to the Red Cross via Amazon

It's run by TheMetsAreBad who runs freesounddock.com, freeistuff.com and freeipodphotos.com. He is legit and is trying to help the cause.

techdude it doesn't look good because Jeff set it up quickly. He could have done that even faster and making it look better using his RAFS project script, but I think he wanted to make it clear that this is separate and that 100% of the money produced by the sign-ups are going to be donated.

Giving your own money directly to the Red Cross is good too. If you can afford it do it. If you can't, do an offer at Jeff's website. If you can do both, do both. I think it's as simple as that.

Well, if the company is so legit and eveyone trust it then why is this...

" So far

$0

has been collected for disaster victims since 12/29/2004"

I donated the minimum to the red cross ($5) and complete an offer on Jeff's site. i really want to help those victims out more, but given the fact that im a college student whos paying $10000 a year tuition by himself...i cant give that much out.
