Ok my question is if i buy a 20 Gig ipod from somewhere like best buy or circuit city now, can i then return the free ipod i recieve from freeipods.com. I know its kind of cheating the system but i just heard that people return the ipods they get from Freeipods and get money out of it? I am just a newbie when it comes to all of these things and i thought what can it hurt to ask?

Umm maybe im stupid, or just really tired, but wouldnt you still have an ipod once you returned the free ipod?? I dont see a point in all of this....

Yeah, unless you already laid out money for a 20GB already, and want that money back, because you just got your free one, there seems little other reason.
You should know, however, that the UPC label of the iPod also has the serial number as a UPC Code, so depending on the retailer, that serial number may appear on your receipt, and if it does, you are screwed.

Getting rid of both of mine as soon as they come....id much rather have $ to spend than have an mp3 player. Last time I used anything like that was when I got my Sony G2 walkman (waterproof ) )as a sophomore in HS...used to listen to it on the bus on the way to school and home from practice. Thats about it...gave it to my g/f after I graduated.

Well I spend alot of time in a truck for work with nothing more than an am radio in that p o s. I go insane. I am dying to get this ipod, but the referrals just aren't coming for me. I have bugged everyone I know and alot of people I don't know P
