freeipod.com vs tech4free.com

Hello there, n00b here.

I'm thinking of getting into the game, and I've been reading a bit on the varied forums. I seem to be getting conflicting views.

When it comes down to it which one is more worthwhile to go with

If people could respond with their own ongoing or past experiences with either (or both) of these sites it'd be very helpful for me in making my decision.

FreeiPods.com is more popular and it is therefore becoming increasingly more difficult to get referrals for. Also, if you get 6 or 7 or 8 green its the same as getting 5 green on FreeiPods, whereas on tech4free you can upgrade to a different gift ($300 cash, digital camera, or surround sound) if you've gotten more than 5. If you're just looking to get an iPod then its really just a question of which is easier to get referrals for, but this late in the game I'd go with tech4free personally.

Any reason mp3players4free isn't up there?

please also note that Gratis' customer support is almost inexistant and doesn't come anywhere near the tech4free website. So, if you (or one of your referral) have a problem receiving credit, you'd better be with tech4free rather than Gratis.

Also, they don't use the same service for shipping. Gratis uses DHL and tech4free UPS. While I had no problem with receiving stuff from Gratis via DHL, I must say the UPS tracking system is way better.

A last point freeipods.com has 'rotating' offers, meaning that all the offers you can sign-up for are not available at the same time. I remember it was a real pain to get Infone at some point, you'd had to connect at 400AM and log-in log-out a number of time before you could have the right offer displayed. On the tech4free website, all the offers you can sign-up for are available at all times.

Not trying to bash Gratis, I got an iPod and an iPod photo from them, but I definitely preferred my experience with tech4free.

Perhaps I have rated tech4free #2 only because I just opened the account and haven't put any effort into getting referrals for it yet, and am therefore biased to my more complete programs )

#0 Gratis, mp3s, and tech

i haven't gotten any from any, haha

but i would suggest mp3s just because i have had offer trouble there (once) and they resolved it VERY quickly... which was good, gratis would never resolve something that quickly..

Well, i've had 2 rejected refs from mp3players, going to try again, hopefully this ref will complete an offer and i will go into approval for a third time )

I don't like the tech4free offers...
