i think web certificates raised its minimum certificate amount. Either that or im going to the wrong site... people are always talking about $5 ones here but the minimum is $20 where i went (http//www.webcertificate.com)

anybody know anything else?

Disregard that and put $5 as the value of the webcertificate.. It'll work.

thanks i have another question though, say i really did want to use a webcertificate as a present for someone.. and i got them a $20 card or something and then the item they want to buy online is more.. say $40. How would they do that? can they only buy something that is under $20?

Don't think it can be done. The Webcertificate is used like a credit card. When you buy something online, there is ONE payment procedure using ONE form of payment. You see your total and submit cc info to pay the total. I've never seen an option like "to use multiple cards, click here". So I don't think that'll work.

adding more to the cert costs more money.

my understanding is that you can add money to it once then after that you would have to buy a new webcertificate.

Can you just put a dollar on it then have a friend do a free offer?
