Tech4free's vendor sold out of Apple iPods

Ahh, Just got an email stating that their vendor were sold out of Apple iPod but would instead send me an HP iPod in replacement and it would be ordered today but I wanted an Apple iPod b/c they sell for wayyy more on eBay. Crap... I'm in a dillema. What should I do...

I just went ahead and ordered the hpod. Just take it to Bestbuy for store credit I guess. D

try going to best buy and exchange it for an apple then ebay the apple. i think best buy has both HP and Apple

Ah no big deal for me, He threw in overnight so I'll be getting it on the 23rd D What a nice guy. He messed up and accidently typed that he'd order them today but he meant he'd order them on a different date and I asked if he would infact be ordering them tonight and he said that he goofed so he would give me overnight for that mistake and go ahead and order tonight. I love Tech4Free!!! D He told me if I wanted the Apple I'd have to wait tell about a week into January, Nah, I think I'll just get it now haha and take it to Best Buy and switch with an Apple so I can sell it on Ebay.

are you sure the hpod sells for less than the iPod. I mean yes, it does when you look at auctions that have already ended. But if you present your thing well, insisting particularly on the fact that hp's support is better and longer than apple's (only 90 days of free phone support from apple, one year from hp), that you can get assistance at all HP authorized service centers such as Best Buy and CompUSA (not just apple stores), maybe it will get as appealing, if not more, as the apple iPod.

It's true dude, I mean, I just don't understand why lots of the auctions are ending lower than the Apple iPods. I seriously would rather have an hPod. Maybe if I did present it better than most people there I would get a better price.... who knows, but I think I'm just gonna take it to BestBuy anyway to get store credit to buy some shit. Does anyone know if I can use store credit online?

I dont believe so i think its only for the store which you get the credit because they take in the merchandise. But then again if they put it on a gift card that might be trasnferable to their online store. Im sure if you ask someone at the customer service desk at Best Buy they should know.
