I haven't been around here much lately, but just saw this site on someones site. http//www.freencome.com/
Its the same as freepay, but freepay is mentioned nowhere, who is it?

Fucking weird, but well-done.

I wouldn't do this site; for one thing, they blatantly lie (they shipped over $14 million worth of gifts); they're a scam site trying to pass off as a formerly-trusted one.

shortys408

<-- wonders if signing up goes to someones referral link.

I signed up for the wii, it looks like it's a functional thing but a huge ripoff of freepay.

Hey, maybe they actually send gifts out. lol

johnjimjones

17-06-2006 14:23:07

It's like they stole the script from Freepay. Everything works once your in, but you get a ton of popups.

FreeEnterprize Joe

17-06-2006 14:25:40

maybe freepay has decided to start selling their script so they can earn some money to ship out gifts?

They're not in the software business. Plus, they wouldn't sell anything that would potentially aid a competitor.

I would strongly caution anyone against using this site. Even if their stealing of the entire FreePay layout is legal (which I highly doubt), it does not speak well for their ethics, or lack thereof.

Indeed it was, the subject was something like "I GOT MY FREE LAPTOP!" or somewhere along that line, and inside the bulletin contained info about certain products, links to the product offer site, and how many refs needed.

Definitely a scam. Don't sign up for that horrible knock off.

If they actually see people's password when they sign up, they'll enjoy looking at spam sign ups.

wow, unbelievable job at ripping freepay off. It seems that all they took was the html code, the javascript functions were made with dreamweaver (they all have the MM_ in the function names indicating macromedia).

It's a bogus site.

Again, it's still there.

What I was wondering, and I'll be more specific this time, is if there's some actual connection between this and Gratis. Not likely, I know, but I'd think Gratis would have been able to have this pulled by now if it were a copycat.
