Response from Freepay, about my approval form delay

After many weeks of them not responding, and me continuing to hound them, I get this on premiumipods.freepay.com

Thank you for your inquiry. While we cannot guarantee a date that your account will be approved, we can assure you that we are working as hard as we can to approve all accounts in a timely manner. Accounts are approved on a first-come, first-served basis and due to the recent release of new products on our other sites and recent international expansion of our organization; we have had an influx of approval requests. At times of high volume such as now there is a chance that an account can take at least 15-25 business days to approve. Thank you in advance for your continued patience. We look forward to approving your account and fulfilling your order.


FYI I sent in my order approval form on 4/2

you would think they could have prepared for this a little better, but oh well. at least they finally sent out some 360's!

Thank you for Freepay Customer Service. After checking, our fraud prevention department has received your approval form already. We will process and approve your account as soon as possible. Unfortunately due to such high levels of fraud we are forced to be very cautious in approving accounts. We have to approve accounts individually on first-come-first-serve basis. However, this process may take up to 15+ business days during high-volume periods involving new, in-demand products. You can check the approval status of your account at any time by viewing the "Status" page. Thank you for your patience. Sincerely, The Freepay Customer Service Team

for my premiumipods- well at least i know that they got my form- i don't know if they got it for my laptops site though (laptops hasn't been working for a while)

Yea, I got a msg way back on 5/17 that they received my form...still nothing though.

I'm still waiting on my premium ipods too, since 3/29 so dont get ur hopes up buddy... uh give me ur aim so we can update each other.

what are you talking about that he's lucky? you've only been waiting 9 days longer than him. and he hasn't even received anything. so why lucky?

Here's one that will make you laugh. I submitted my form about a month ago and USPS.com confirmed it was received and signed for. Freepay never acknowledged they had my form. So two days ago I submit a short ticket asking if they had the form. No response. Then YESTERDAY they update my status saying they have the form and are processing it. Then today, my status still says they have the form, but they replied and closed my support ticket saying to resend the form they don't have it. But they already said they did and status still says they do!!!!!!

I was approved and placed my order yesterday. I actually didn't have to wait to long on this site. I think it was like 4 weeks from the time they got my form to when I was approved. So I'm lucky there. I've been waiting 2.5 months for them to even acknowledge I exist on the Mac Mini site.

Well i wasn't approved, not a damn thing has changed on my status page since i got the 9 refs.

If their working on premiumipods? why haven't they did mine?!!?

i've been staring at the same status screen since 3/14... starting to get pretty irritated...

funny part is, when I got my 2K from CSC... My wife said I should just go buy a PSP... and I was like... Nooooooooo... I've been waiting a long time, Freepay will come through for me.

Boy am I dumb.

I may make a Freepay pinata Flash Game and post it... so we can all beat them up and work out some pinned up aggression.

Premium iPods. From the time I mailed the approval form to the date I was approved and placed my order was 15 days. That is withing the 4 week processing time that they state on the generic download approval form page. So, really, this one site (premium ipods) was on time and I have no complains.

On the other hand, I sent in my approval form for Mac Minis, on 4/01/06 and I haven't heard anything. I sent it again and it was received and signed for on 5/10/06. Still nothing.

I tried Mac minis, but I got convinced that freepay was screwing me out of credit. For every other site (4 of them), I always had 1 green out of 10 yellows, with mac mini, i had 2 greens with 96 yellows /
