No, you have to convert them to another format first, unless you just want to store them on the iPod as a HD.

does the software that comes with the ipods have the ability to rip off of cds? cause if it does, then im fine.

heh, im jealous, but I got some refs coming. I got like 8 friends who said they will do it, and I gave the link to them. It took a lot of begging, and telling to them that it was real. I dont know if they will REALLY do it, but atleast there is hope.
