DHL shipping question.

Does the ipods get here when DHL estimates, or do they get here early???

Mine had an expected delivery date for Monday, but it came Saturday.

Mine should be in today but I'm still waiting. The last update was around 8 in the morning and it was in a town like 10 min away. Go figure.

dhl normally gets you your shit before they estimate. i called and dude told me not to look for it til wednesday. then it came on tuesday. they are still the worst out of the three major shipping companies though, i'll hold myself to that.

If they come to your house and you're not there, will it show up on the tracking page?

actually, up until last week on this forum, i haven't even [b6b23896539]heard[/b6b23896539] of DHL... just by the name i could tell it wasn't a good shipping company ) i wish gratis would let you choose who you want to ship with, and if it costs me money to ship UPS or USPS, i will pay.

First of all, +Karma for having such a sweet name (whenrabbitsattack). To address the first question, the estimate is in fact just an estimate. If it was more oftern earlier or later...dont you think they would adjust the estimate? I haven't had much experience with their tracking system, but it may say "delivery attempted" or something of that sort if they miss you...but this is just a guess.

As far as USPS, UPS, or DHL....to each his own, but from a corporate standpoint DHL is generally the most cost efficient.

DHL was mostly international, until they recently merged with Airborne Express.

Mines says expected 12/13. Since I live in California, I don't think i'll get it any earlier.

Do DHL do Saturday deliveries?

DHL doesn't normally do Saturday deliveries. I had DHL do a delivery for me before, and the package was estimated to arrive on a Friday, but it didn't. However, it arrived the next morning. I think they'll only deliver on Saturdays if it was expected to have been delivered earlier. The same thing happened to me this time around, my iPod was estimated to have arrived today, but it hasn't.

Ummm...mine says today as well but it's 530 and I see nothing. I saw more DHL vans running around today than I've ever seen but maybe I missed the boat? It says mine is sitting in Dayton Ohio which is about an hour away and I don't think they would have pulled it into their facility at 650 am to leave it sit there all day....o well, I'll hope for a late delivery.

O ya, do I have to be here? I know people were griping about signature confirmation but I heard others say their ipod was on their porch when they got home....

St. Marys......Oxford doesn't sound firmiliar but there are many small bergs. St. Marys recently went to state in football....came back runner up but you may have heard of us....we beat CJ. I'm talking about football on an ipod forum(wow).....GARRRRR, I want my ipod!!
