After being put on hold and appealing, Gratis did take me (rightfully) off hold last week Monday. I requested approval for the second time on Saturday night sometime...today I noticed I've been approved.
So, for the naysayers, follow the rules, and you should be rewarded. I know I have a long time to wait, but I'm ok with that...I have no problems waiting.
Like the FreeIPod, I won't be REALLY excited until it's been shipped, but I have nothing but good things to say about Gratis and their process.
