Pmed Jake, but here goes (in case it is faster this way)

I sent my approval form in on the 14th of March, and it was recieved on the 16th. It is now more than 40 days later and I am still stuck on the "send in approval form" page. USPS shows that it was delivered on the 16th- 03052200000148242601

I have contacted customer service multiple times, and they keep telling me that I have to wait to be approved (even though I have waited more than required and people have been approved in much shorter time periods).

Any suggestions or help would be apprecited- thanks!

Well... it's really hard to reccommend the site to anyone at this point and get some new blood into the cycle. They need to improve their communications and keep us involved in the process. They obviously have to go into their systems to review the accounts once they get them... how hard would it be to create a little radio button that they can click on while reviewing the site that points our account from the current account page to one that says "Hey Hey Heyyyyyyy, we got your form. Your account is currently under review. This process can take 3-4 weeks. After you are approved it will take an additional 4-6 weeks to receive your gift. Our gifts ship at the beginning of each month" That would answer plenty of questions and take the strain off their mail servers so CS reps aren't constantly having to answer questions about the status of an account. Why is it so hard to put something in place. Better communication is all we ask... Then we all wouldn't be freaking out.

I'm in my 30's but I was hanging out with some college kids and do you know how many of them want free psps and ipods and chit like that? I couldn't reccommend Freepay to them at this time but I told them I would get back to them. I bet i"m no the only one with a similar story.

We are working on this feature that you describe as we speak. ;)

At this time, we are also preparing all of the approval forms for processing by the approval team so you can expect to see this entire process accelerate very soon.

ah, i'm sure we'll see the entire process speed up on 5/30 when a bunch of accounts get shut down and then again on 6/29 when the other deadline passes.

or maybe things will still be the same, because tons of people will start contacting freepay with concerns and complaints. and then at that point freepay will be so flooded with these messages that they'll say they'd love to start approving more accounts but they are overwhelmed with so much contact that they have a lot to sort out.

who knows what may happen.

what was wrong with the old system anyways? why did they have to change it so that we need to use snail mail? its like we've gone backwards in terms of technology...

More bait, yet still no action. The backlog of product continues to grow...

yeah, I snuck in to gratis headquaters and took a picture of how there preparing the forms http//www.wetegg.com/images/Paperstack.jpg[" alt=""/img7d0bb6aff1]

this is completely ridiculous no excuse for this ...should be processing forms instead of adding a "your form has been recieved" check mark...if they would just process the forms they would be no need for this.
