There's a ton of controversy over this..realilistically..only 1/5 of the people or 1/8 (in the case of flatscreens) could get their item. For 5 people to get an item that's 40 people on the conga.

Yea, I've come to the conclusion that conga lines are only helpful to the people that make them.

yeah, i got duped into signing up for four of them. Even if you are the third guy to sign up, the guy who created it usually keeps more referrals than he should and you don't get shit.
yes, all this is correct.
However, I should point that there are a few websites around (I'd say no more than 4 or 5) where the admins have been very serious about their conga lines and kept them running and got a lot more people completed than just them and a couple friends.
Also, I'd like to point that there are different types of congas and that lines are just the most widespread and the least fair conga system.
