sorry guys, i meant to ask you give me the day Freepay RECEIVED your form.. not the day you sent it... though its just a bit off. it makes more sense to go by the day they get it. anyways, if you want to fix that, do give me that info.
(you know some people will panic if a person who reported a date after them gets their approval... so the exact day might matter to some folks.)

EXACTLY 6 weeks later and yes they in fact 'processed' my approval form.
Only they decided to make one of my refs gray. In fact..this is the 2nd time I went through approval (one under new system and one under old system).
The ref that turned gray this time made it through the first round of account inspection fine...they grayed him out of no where this time around. He is actually a 30+ trader on these boards who hasn't had a problem yet with turning gray.
Now I wait for him to speak to freepay, wait for freepay to RE-review his account, and submit for approval again a good 3 weeks from now only to wait another 6 weeks for them to glance at my account again.
I'll talk to you all again back in..well...July. ARG!

freepay was the second referral site I signed up for too. the first one was a part of i-deal direct. i haven't received anything from both of the sites... so don't feel bad. however, i got impatient and started on other sites and have received things. so if it makes you feel better, you might want to start on another site thats able to ship things out quick for now. i'm sure freepay will pull through though.. they are sending things out.

Nothing as of yet. I know they have the form but no approval to date. I got the 20gb iPod and a flatscreen over a year ago now, so I've got faith, in addition to 9/8 refs for the premium iPod.
Something should happen soon, the mid-March people are getting approved/shipped. Can't be long now.

I sent in a support ticket a couple days ago, and got a little bit of good news, I guess my status is received and acknowledged, but not approved. Don't flood them with more tickets asking for status, this just shows us all that things are moving along!

I was told that I actually did not have to send in my approval form after doing it once. So I just opened up a support ticket (AFTER DENIED ONCE AND DOING APPROVAL PROCESS AGAIN) and they re-evaluated my account.

how do you know they have your form? I sent mine in for psp like 3 weeks ago... and my status hasn't changed. where do I look to see of they have it?

I did it the same way as you and thought that my status would change to show that they had received the form. You can send a Customer Service Inquiry to Freepay and ask them if they have received your form. It will take them about a week to respond, but they should tell you if they have it or not.
Luckily they received mine. I'm not sure when they got it (I had to guess), but they did verify that they have it.

Sorry I haven't updated lately. I've been kind of busy. I have a crazy girlfriend who felt we had to celebrate her birthday from Friday to Monday. So, I've hardly had any sleep! Anyways, I'm back!

just a guess but maybe its b/c ipods has the longest waiting list? a lot of newbies all sign up for ipods... it's usually their first freebie.. many of them aren't part of this site either.

Hi.. i haven't join all the fun in here.. but seriously what is the chance that alot of us will be screw when 5/30 roll around.. if I remember correctly the 'situation' has started since the end of January when freepay started playing hard to get or whatever they are doing. Isn't there a good chance that only 2 weeks away and a bunch of people never get approved yet or product ship that we'll probably never see the stuff that we were suppose to get? I'm all for giving freepay as much time as they need to properly sort out their approval forms and all the new procedures, but they're not doing the same for me so it's a bit frustrating for me. I have eight business days to go before my account gets locked. If I have more than one of my greens taken away I'm done for. If they processed my approval form quicker I would have had a fighting chance. I hope it doesn't play out this way, but if it does I'm not going to be too happy.

I have gotten over 6 or 7K in free stuff since I mailed my Redemption Form... A couple of things were started after I mailed my form.. AND I'M STILL NOT APPROVED FOR PSPS!
Jake... this is ridiculous! Does the lawsuit have anything to do with Freepay's current slow down... Any genius can figure out it doesn't take this long to update your infrastructure... even with staff changes... you have people here that have offered their services to assist you because we want freepay to succeed yet all we get is the silent treatment.
Either fess up with some real answers or shut down and file for bankruptcy and open under a new name... but please don't leave us all hanging.
When I initially signed up for the site it was for a conga, with high hopes that in a few months I would have a PSP. That was over a year ago. When you guys made your announcement... I went to work and got my referrals in less than a month. For the amount of trades I did I should have just got a $500 giftcard or $1000 gift card at a DIY site. It's a shame that all the other companies are making their business model work and you're not.
This reminds me of the Burger King on the College campus in my town... they were right smack dab in the middle of a college campus and they had to close down because they couldn't make any money... why? Because their service was so damn bad and people stopped going. Don't be that Burger King Freepay... Don't be that Burger King.

The Ipods are a must for freepay man, they need to send those.
It seems the most neglected part of their orders and approvals are for ipods. If they cant send out the ipods, all others should wait in line. Even though they stated otherwise, i doubt people will get a PSP before the ipods get sent out.

Well, that is what is kinda odd. I submitting support tickets asking for an update and point out that the USPS confirmed they got my forms FOR BOTH premium ipods AND Mac Minis. They haven't responded to ANY support tickets I've logged in weeks. They finally updating my status on premium ipods only. Haven't changed my status on mac minis. And my support tickets are still open.
Who knows at this point. Right now I'm focusing on getting some stuff on the Free4me network. Low referrals, and Tickle IQ tests for $5 bucks. I honestly think I'll get something from them before my Freepay gifts arrive.

I just got an email from a Freepay employee asking if I would be willing to take a White Ipod Nano immediately instead of waiting for a Black one. I sent in my approval form in late March and have been processing since 5/25. Looks like they are finally coming.
Here's the text from the email

iPod Shuffle - (5/13 is when they recieved the approval form)
.....BUT, they have recently mistakenly DQ'd me because of the 90 day timeframe, even though I did indeed finish the sites (with extra referrals) during the 90 days AND I have the USPS Certified Mail Reciept to prove it.
The last I heard now is that they are giving me 30 more days to finish, so obviously they are not even reading my support tickets and just giving me canned robotic answers. THanks Freepay!

holy shit, i damn near had a heart attack, i had sent in a second approval form (after 10 weeks with no updates). Even put a note in the envelope saying "this is a second approval form" they put me on hold for not completing on time. I sent them several support tickets because I had 6 refs +myself with a month left before the deadline. Anyways, placed order, and processing now, says 7-10 days. What does 7-10 days really mean for those of you have actually gotten something from them? I'll get a general idea after this post, i'll read the first thread...
not sure what 7-10 days means. i opened a ticket monday and got a nice response from them today, they seemed sympathetic to the delay and said they would forward my concerns to fraud prevention. probably the next desk over ;)

The "forwarding to fraud prevention" is a canned, albeit nicer, response. It was the latest response they gave to me over my Mac Mini. I completed the Mini site and mailed in the approval form on 4/01. I received no updates, nothing. I mailed it again and they received in on 5/10. Still nothing. Three months since I originally sent in for approval and many customer support ticket later and they, in a CS ticket, admit they have my form, yet have not updated my status page to show it. Nothing.
The real kicker is that one of my referrals completed 2 months after me, sent in his form and within 5 days his status changed to show they received his form!!!
So yeah, you'll be waiting a long long long time.

I sent in a Support ticket (For FreeIpods) and they replied. They changed the "zone" and now I see a Canadian flag on the top left. I am now processing as of the 7th/July 2006 after resolving Canadian issue.
I sent in my approval form on April 22nd. Sent in a couple of tickets to see the status and on June 25th I got approved. and went processing on the 7th.

I filed a complaint with the BBB on Freepay 10 days ago and received a letter that Freepay approved my account 3 days after they received the complaint. We're all approved but I think this "server error" is another stalling tactic. If this problem isn't fixed in a few days I'm going to inform the BBB and I suggest you all do the same.

Fuck. They just placed three of my refs on hold eventhough MONTHS ago I asked Jake as well as the Freepay Customer Support Team if these users would go on hold ( I was in a dorm) and they both told me no problem, as long as they are legitamate people. Ugh. Let's see what happens.

I think a new section should be added to the front page for BBB contact. I just filed a complaint today regarding my Mac Mini account. They got my form on April 13th and never approved me. They closed my account July 1st but said they're still working on my account anyway via a CS ticket. After being ignored since then on CS I decided the BBB was my only option. Hopefully they actually do something about it. According to the stats listed on the BBB site for Gratis those who file complaints (and there are A LOT of them) get results the majority of the time. That gives me hope. They can always disqualify my referrals though (

As for my 1st form, I entered in the wrong information (not bloody likely), my handwriting was too hard to read (they could read my PS3 form just fine...), it got lost somewhere from their P.O. Box in DC to their office, or they were lying about it. At any rate, this time I added text boxes to their supplied .pdfurl==http://=http:///url so my handwriting wouldn't be an issue.

My road to being approved went like this...
I paid 6 people to do offers, 2 scammed me, One didn't even attempt the other went green then on hold (That doesn't add up if I had 6 do offers and two scammed, I had a green from long ago before there was a deadline I got for free). I finished before the deadline, sent in two approval forms, one in hand writing and one printed (both in the same envelope). Sent the form on 5/30, 6/1 they said they received it. 6/20 I got approved and placed my order.
I didn't send in any support tickets or contact the BBB. I stayed patient and prayed [b905be20845]A LOT!![/b905be20845]
I am now praying for STV and after that I am gonna pray the hardest that it arrives. Maybe if the stars align I'll receive it on my birthday in 14 days ;p...If you see any stars aligning let me know ;p

a. I'm very very happy for all of you that are FINALLY getting approved for Mac Minis.
b. I'm irritated as h#ll that I haven't been. I sent my form in on 4/01 which means they would have received it within 10 days (I didn't used tracked mail). They never updated my status page to show that they received my form...
...ok, so I mail a second form on 5/10 (with delivery confirmation), they received it on 5/12. They still didn't update my status page to say they at least had the form...
...so, I e-mail Jake. He replies a few days later saying he checked and they do have my form, just be patient. Still no updates on my status page. IE, it still says to download and send in the form...
...so, I open a customer support ticket asking if they have my form. They reply back that they looked and have my form already, blah blah blah, form mail. But that makes USPS.com, Jake, and Customer Service ALL confirming they have my form. But still, three months since I sent the first one, two months since the second one and they still haven't updated my status page and only give canned automated responces to my CS tickets.
Yet, people have been getting approved left and right this week. And one of my best friends, who was a referral of mine, who completed a month after I did, at least his status page has been updated.
What should I do? If I wait, they will close my account saying they don't have my form and I didn't send it it, even though I have USPS proof. If I send in another form, they will just add me back to the end of the line?????

I would say keep sending CS requests, contact Jake again. I would say that sending a new form may not help.
Or you should find out how to contact them via phone. I know they don't take calls, but in your position, I would think it couldn't hurt.

I was at STV! Less than a week!

I just received my Mac mini today! And the best thing is, it's the new, upgraded 1.66 GHz Core Duo model! I'm posting this message on it right now. I was planning on taking it down to the Apple store to see how much they'd charge to upgrade it from the Core Solo model (which is featured on Freepay's site). But to my pleasent surprise I didn't have to, they gave me the latest version. I guess after waiting for months and months it's kinda nice that they did the right thing.

Update for me.
Virtual Crogs (5/17) was the date free pay got my form
7/17 was the day I was approved
and on 10/7 I got my 30GIG iPod in the mail.
There was no shipping update until AFTER I got the product as free pay only gave me an estimated time of 10/17. So I don't think I ever went STV because I was stuck in processing stage for awhile.
Edit I don't think I could upgrade to an 80gig at an ipod store. I didnt use the Ipod itself but I did open that white package that held the USB/Headphones. Even though I didnt use those yet either. Could I still upgrade for free or a cost? Im happy either way, 30gigs is a bunch of space.

If you opened the box at all, you can't trade it. Only sealed, shrink-wrapped iPods can be traded, and even then some Apple stores won't trade.

soo.... i've been STV on freeipods for over two weeks now. i got a support ticket two and a half weeks ago that said "your product will ship no later than 10/10". dirty, filthy liars...

I was approved August 10, they sent an email in Oct asking me if they could substitute a different laptop, and I received it at the beginning of Nov (1 or 2)
