I never see Jake here, and 9 times out of 10, the questions we ask get no response.

I'm giving up on Freepay, and saving the money for a laptop. Then, if I actaully get mine, I can ebay it.

lishrugli do what you want, but do me a favor and search for posts with the author "Jake"

He's already posted quite a few times this morning, and he does answer all PMs

1 "times".

0 times in response to the question that people want to know
[b555390984f]Why are they NOT processing approval forms![/b555390984f]

Did as you asked. Guess what I found?

For a guy who's a company rep, he spends a lot of time in Off-Topic.

Maybe he knows the answer but doesn't want to tell us?

Personally, I would rather hear every day that he's trying to find out but doesn't know, than to hear NOTHING about the ONE THING people care about!

Can we get an answer, please?

Jake

I don't know why the approval forms are going slow or aren't being processed because I don't handle that information.

Besides, questions directed at me are usually answered via PM.

Jake, first, I want to thank you for taking the time to answer. This is exactly the information I (and a lot of other people, I think) were looking for.

Next question. Who [i79d2ee763b]does [/i79d2ee763b]handle this? Is there a contact person we can get it touch with to get the information we need? If you don't have the information we're looking for, then I personally would rather not bother you. Please tell us who, if anyone, can answer these questions.

then maybe we can get our answers, and you can get back to pestering your bosses for other answers )

thanks again

I don't think Jake is going to post another employee's names/contact information to a public forum.

He doesn't need to! Just find out the d@mn answer and post that!

He works at the company. It's not hard to walk down the hall and ask the dude why they aren't processing forms and then come back and post the answer he got.

GRM, just out of curiosity, what company do you work for?

Does your company discuss internal conversations on the internet?
Do you question other employees and post their answers on the internet?
Have you ever seen another company question their employees on their work status and then publish those answers on the internet?

Be reasonable, Jake does what he can, but he doesn't own Freepay, he works there. He receives a paycheck from someone there who does own the company, and who in all likelyhood tells Jake 99% of what he can post here.

Now if Jake wanted to publish the phone number and address of the guy who is holding up approval on my PC that's a different story, but in the meantime I think we all need to remember that at some level there is a suit running Freepay who limits how much of his internal news becomes public news.

that's like saying me asking you to go up to your mom and ask her what bra size she wears and why she won't tell me what size she wears.

I work in website development.
If I was doing a project and I had a deadline of, let's say...5/30, and I haven't shown my client that I had done ANYTHING so far. I would expect them to be asking what the status was. I couldn't go to my coworkers (developers) and ask them how far along their progress was, come back and email/post to my client "they wouldn't tell me how far along your site is. Please check back in 15 to 30 days, or less, or more."
I'd think I wasn't getting my site done if I were the client...

No, it's not at all...It's like going up to my mom and asking how far along are you on sewing that dress for my sister's wedding on 5/30!!!

Not asking for personal info, just a status update for concerned customers.

OK, so they have an extra 30 days (6/30). That doesn't change the fact that they aren't doing it!

ok...you know how there's business days, which don't count the weekend....maybe there's a "business week" which is actually equal to 7 business days. so, then that would be like, 5 weeks and a monday!
