I see that it says that to get credit for blcokbuster, one must stay a member for the whole 2 weeks. Does this mean that if I am dissatisfied with the service, for whatever reason, that i should wait until the last day of the trial to cancel?

no you can cancel whenever it pisses you off, after you get credit.
