Longer average time to go green?

What has your experience been, after the new rules, with referrals going green? One of the things I was really excited about was that maybe offers would go green sooner ... which would make the 90 day policy more defendable.

However, my experience has been the exact opposite. I am completing the MacMini site which requires 10 refs. The only greens I've gotten were from people that did known instant offers -- such as Stamps.com, Video Professor, and UltraBurn. Everyone that did other offers that say 2-3 business days, have yet to go green. The oldest is past 15 days and the newest is 10 days.

The May 30th deadline used to seem far far away. We are almost one month into this new system and these deadlines are starting to become real. Tack on the long approval time (2 weeks & waiting for IpodNano) and this seemingly less efficient crediting process ... there are some real doubts.

How have your experience been?

hell yes. Still waiting for greens on my PS3.freepay

WAITED 15 DAYS for the credit from Kmart on the macmini, send in manuel credit, NO RESPONSE, NO GREEN. So i did another offer, not yet green, and it has been 5 days, when it says Instant credit.

I don't think any of them are really instant crediting. Most of their offers report in realtime to the affiliate company, but from my experience they rarely postback / fetch properly. I usually give it a week.

efax has not credited under me, either. I'm not sure what else to do except give up on freepay.

I'm in the same boat. I'm going on 30 days for my last green on the mac mini. I lined up 3 extra greens on top of that last one and none of them have gone either. this is retarded...

yea it really sucks.

I'm waiting on 2 greens for other people, its been 2 weeks now. Now I have to FAX in their fliing manual credit.

No we won't give credit out and you have to find a fax machine to get credit.

they either are struggling to make money or just are way too greedy.

give us credit already freepay, we know you have the reports from your affiliates already.

Yeah I'm 7/8 on the flatscreen site and this ref did a so called "instant offfer" about a week ago.

I've been trying to get 2 referrals for freeps3 ever since the 90-day announcement. So far it has been almost 30 days, I have gotten 4 people to sign up under me and do an offer, and have 0 greens. For 2 of those people gratis had a server problem and they didn't link to my account, and the other 2 are just not going green. I've pretty much given in to the fact that they are just going to screw me until my 90 days are up, so I don't have my hopes up.

I'm there also, been waiting for 3 weeks for my last 2 to go green on pcs.freepay site. This has definitely taken my steam away from doing any other sites.

its very frustrating and stressful at times.. i havent gotten anywhere with my pcs site over the past month or so even after doing about 3 trades.. people arent even showing up under my list.. its just one big stall.

I can't get a green to save my life anymore. I've been waiting 6 weeks to go green for someone on premiumipods, and I've been waiting for nearly 4 weeks for my last green on ipods.freepay. And customer service has been pretty useless.

chillywilly

28-03-2006 08:12:06

My story is the same for my last green under ipodnanos.freepay. It's been almost 4 weeks now. I'm tempted to get another green (just to make sure this clears without issue), but that may not go green either.

So far, I've only had one green under a freepay site this month.

And where has Jake been lately? I'm not hating on him, but it would be nice to have some responses to the posts some of us have left him... questions that we would like answers to.

Long crediting time + long approval time -- that's just great.

I've been waiting for more than 2 weeks on my approval for ipodnano (all the greens were obtained before this mess). It's just one obstacle after another until you hit the 90 day wall.

everyone should start calling them

I had such a run around trying to get credit for Flycell that I ended up finding a phone# for Gratis, called (they seemed surprised that I had their #) and quickly recieved e-mail support and credit.

Well, I've been waiting for my 8th and final ref to turn green for my xbox360. I have been waiting since 1/27. It's a credit card and my ref has made a purchase and paid the first bill and still no green.

I have messaged Jake who told me that for some reason the credit was severly delayed. Jake said that I would get credit soon. That was over 2 1/2 weeks ago and still nothing.

I just want this one last green so I can get my free xbox360 and I can be done with this ridiculous nonsense.

Can't blame you. Hope it (and the rest of ours) goes green soon.

Well, I am signed up for the flatscreen and psp but with all of this crap going on I won't do anything on those offers.

I'm new to all of this but I've been reading these forums for quite a while and my confidence was very high on FreePay in the beginning.

You see, before the 90 day limit I was relaxed, figured if it took me a while no big deal. Now there is all this pressure to get this thing done as early as possible so that if I submit this mail in form and one or more refs get rejected then I have some time to get a replacement.

If FreePay thinks I'm even going to try and do the other two offers in this manner then they are nuts.

They have taken something that is relatively low stress and turned it into a big headache. I don't have time in my life for that.

Hell, a month ago I didn't have the money to purchase a 360 and now with my tax return I have more than enough. Dishing out $400 dollars right now seems less stressfull than messing around with FreePay. Don't forget the fact that all my friends and other refs will have a pretty good laugh at my expense if this all falls through and I find myself scammed.

Well has anyone here on this forum go green at all in the last two weeks or so?

zulu342

28-03-2006 18:27:07

The answer looks like no. I'm 6 for 6. All 6 of my referrals have yet to go green even though they did offers that claim 2-3 days and that was 2 weeks ago.

The only greens I've gotten were from people that did 'real' instant offers like Stamps.com and Video Professor.

May 30th is coming up fast at the rate we're going.

I have had about 6 greens in the last week from trades here so it seems they are going pretty good for me, now I just need to get my approval forms approved.

How about longer average time for ANYTHING when it comes to freepay? It is getting ridiculous.

JJPRO11

28-03-2006 23:53:56

is anyone else starting to believe the crediting time is no accident? the longer it takes to credit, the less time we all have because most are waiting on certain people to green.. if it takes long enough then before you know it your 90 days will be up and you are at 9/10 with refs.. you come out empty-handed while freepay makes a profit.. something they probably havent been doing which caused this 90 day bullshit. im never doing a freepay again and might just forget about pursuing a free pc even at 5/10.

Hard to tell if it's related to specific offers that were done or not. Time frame wise, it looks like offers that were done at a certain time are not crediting, but now some of the offers that people have done in the last couple of days are crediting.

Jake, is this something that you can look into? Or do we need to just be patient? I know asking to PM you on these isues is most likely out of the question, but if it's an option, please let us know. Thanks. Much apprec.

I'm still waiting on 4 greens. One of them is my last green, the other three are insurance/just in case greens. I almost asked another friend to try doing an instant offer for me yesterday but talked myself down since I'd rather not waste my time if nothing is crediting on my account due to my last green being stuck. Monday should be a full 47 days since one of my referrals did his offer! faster approval this is not.

One of my refs got DQ'ed on ps3.freepay. It's my first DQ ever. Stupid thing was that I had been approved for over 2 months on ps3.freepay. Now I have to find another ref. That's bs freepay.

I could never wait that long. If my last ref doesnt green w/i 2 weeks, I go get myself a new ref.

But onto the topic, I did efax a couple days ago and went green yesterday.

It definitely looks like offers completed around 3/10 - 3/25 are the troubled ones. Funny thing is my offers done on Trainn has the same problem it seems.

From what I know, my last ref did the offer around 3/4 and it's still not credited. Time is ticking away... I think if they don't do another offer or if their current offer doesn't credit over the weekend, I'm going to have to get another ref so I can get this site done.

As much as I don't like having to get yet another referral I think i have to. now to find an instant offer and hope none of my other referrals go black...

It does seem to be taking longer. I thought the new system would be improved. Did anyone ever find out if that e-mail referral page on the freepay site, is the new easy way to refer people?

zulu342

And what's great is that after you get all your greens ... you just hop over to the Approval Form thread and wait and bitch some more.
