Sent in my approval form about 2 weeks ago, and still haven't been fully approved.
How long has it taken for everyone else to get approved? I just need to know if I might need to send in another form.

Been waiting 9 days since mine were marked as delivered by USPS delivery confirmation (3/13).
That is for flatscreens.freepay. This is my second round of approvals (first round was before this mail-in system took place).
So for me
form delivered 3/13 - Flatscreens.Freepay. Status Waiting.
Can everyone else update with their date of DELIVERY (date when you sent it is damn near useless since USPS can be so random sometimes) along with which site requesting approval on?

Yeah really I started the freeipod close to 1 yr ago kinda forgot about setup 2 trades for $40 a piece and while waiting for them to go green they switch this over to approval form..what a bunch of crock I have no change in status since 3/9
I sent mine on Sunday and I got approved on Monday, don't know how they got it that fast.

Well March 29, 2006 will be week 4 for me if you count 5 day intervals (working week aka business days) and still no word - I sent two forms in first, then another, then another. I find it rather sad that they haven't updated my account when I mailed in the form the day after the new TOS and I only live 20 minutes away. I mailed two forms from two seperate places so I know at least one has gotten there. March 29th hits Im sending in another form via mail.

Maybe the people who are getting the run around have referrals who did the MusicNow offer. That's the only thing that I can figure.

I don't think they've processed any since the new TOS. Most people that have got approved are probably carried over from approval from before the new system. -they clicked for approval before the new TOS went into effect.
They might have processed a few forms from the first few days after.

That would be a hell of a good idea, it certainly would make me feel a little bit more secure about my approval form and the fact I didn't send it in certified, I mean, what if they never got my form and I just wait for 4 weeks for nothing....My time might even be up by then....jake should suggest this to the upper-management guys....

I have a question for people. I went to the post office and did priority shipping and delivery confirmation, because I thought the delivery confirmation was the thing that would tell me if they got it. First of all is that what it is, and how would I go about finding out if they got it.

Delivery confirmation helps, but what I understand about verified mail, using Certified mail would be the best option here. Certified mail is where they deliver it someone who must sign a form. You get the signed form back in the mail, which is your proof that it was officially delivered.
Delivery confirmation is more of a simple verification that your package was delivered.

I filed for approval on February 15th, I waited 13 days then they changed to a voucher. I asked Jake about it and he said I had to send in voucher.
Waited few days and mailed it in. They received it on March 6th.

Just to let everyone know I did finish the giftcard site on the day the new process went into effect and mailed my form that day, it was approved a week later. My other 2 sites were mailed 2 days later though and nothing yet.

You have 30 days after completion (or after the first 90 days are up whichever is longer) to MAIL the form.. The postmarked date.. So it doesn't matter how long it takes them to approve it as long as you mailed it off by the date. It's not counting against you at all unless they decide to DQ some greens and you have to try and get more... then time matters.

how exactly does that make freepay homosexual? you mean freepay is being a complete jerk for not approving us, while telling us everything would be much faster? the old approval system was fine. I don't think they clearly justify their response for doing so.

Freepay has said that if they DQ an offer and you have to get more greens you might get your time extended but it would be on a case by case basis.

Yes but no one I know of has been approved from the mailed in approval forms. I sent mine in the DAY after the TOS change, I live in Baltimore - they are in DC - it shouldnt have taken that long and CS claims they are processed in the order they are received - so by that thinking I should have been approved some time ago as well as the others who sent theirs certified and it was received more than 4 weeks ago...This leads me to believe they either just recently started approving forms or haven't even started yet...

I think it depends on the site and the amount of referrals they have to check. Plus everyone has been in a panic to send them in so they must be flooded with requests.

I can't belive that some people have been waiting for over 5 weeks now!! That's just terrible CS by freepay. Why not send an e-mail to update the person... 5 weeks?! My 3rd week has started this monday, and I can't believe that there is a possiblity of me having to wait two MORE weeks, or even longer than that...
Isn't it funny how Jake seems to avoid the Freepay section of this site. And fixing issues and getting answers to Freepay questions. Even though that's where his customer base is.

Just wanted to give my update. Freepay received my form from USPS on March 16th and I am still awaiting approval for my flatscreen.
Can anyone post a screen capture of what the page looks like when you DO get approved? I just wanna make sure I don't miss it since I was told they don't notify you when this happens.
No-one can give you a screenshot of the approval screen since the new site changes or the TOS change, since no-one has been approved since then! Only ones that got approved are the ones that clicked the approval button before the change.
They're NOT processing the forms, yet.

Just go to the post office and go up to a clerk and ask to send it certified mail. Once done they will give you a slip with a tracking number on it, you can check the tracking number through the USPS website.

No you would act as though you were mailing it. I cant remember if you fill ou the address on the envelope or not or if a label is attached that you fill out there...it's been awhile since I sent something certified. But non the less put it in an envelope and write the address on it all the same - even if you do get a label you can put it over the address you already wrote. Seal it too, lol. Dont put stamps on it....

I never thought I would say it but I am actually becoming angry on how long it is taking for approvals. There is no reason it should take 5 weeks to approve an account, especially since FreePay claimed they wanted to make approval times faster. They haven't process one approval form thus far that I have read about on ANY forum so what it the approval and fraud department doing? It does not take five weeks to look into someone's account to determine if there are fraudulant refs. I am starting to think bad things about FreePay - how they could be setting up to back out of the business - and until now I didn't think so. I still gave FreePay a chance and promoted their site. I know I will get a bunch of crap about this - but when I am checking daily for my status and nothing changes and the only response to ANY ticket I send them regarding why I haven't been approved in 5 WEEKS I get

I know no one has been approved yet in the new policy. However, I did read that some people's referrals were DQ after they sent in the forms. So, how did you know this? Did they contact you somehow? Or did you just keep checking your site and your approval status disappeared?

My ipod is 7/5 green, 2 yellows that did offer but aren't getting credit...plus i ended up doing 2 of my own offers (and I didn't sign up under anyone) cause the crediting sucked.
So they got 11 offers done from me. Considering the average payout of a sponsor they are definitely pulling in enough for my ipod, and some to profit on top of it.
11 OFFERS because of their crappy crediting. I find it funny that small networks can have the SAME offers and yet freepay takes 200x longer to credit. Which means to me that they like taking their time.
It's sickening really.

You know what's even greater... After you're approved... it will take up to 6-8 weeks to get your gift. I have a feeling all this is going to be settled in court. This is my first "referral" freebie and it will be my last... I've allowed these goons to sell my personal info for over a year now and I have over 1000 spam emails from last month alone to prove they've done it. For the amount of trades I did I could have gotten a $500 Giftcard from a DIY site and bought a fricken PSP.
As someone mentioned... they're probably backlogged a couple of million and don't have the money to fulfill orders... Which is fine if they're honest about it. But don't tell us you haven't received our forms or you haven't opened the mail yet... I worked in a payment processing center before and each rep would process over 100 pieces of mail an hour... which included entering account numbers, routing numbers and account numbers from checks, and clicking other buttons to ensure it was credited correctly. 1 person would do between 650-800 pieces in an 8 hour shift... multiply that by two and you pretty much have all of our orders taken care of.
All they have to do is be honest and not be vague... and wouldn't it make sense to validate accounts prior to having to print out the form... that way if there's a problem, we don't have to submit another form and wait an additional 4 weeks.
We're all breakage to them and I sense the bankruptcy hammer falling on Freepay real soon...
If I'm wrong... Correct me and put our minds at ease. ?

If I'm approved for PS3 before the others (sent in before PS3), then I'll be 100% convinced Freepay has no intention of shipping anything until the lawsuit is resolved. Have you all read what they are up against?

I don't think PS3 has a problem with sending them out, but price. The price of PS3 is going up $100 at least from anticipated. So we're all going to need more referrals.
I believe what he's saying is, they're only approving PS3 accounts and not others, such as Ipods or anything else. Because the PS3 wait is still a year out.
So by approving them and keeping some people happy they are avoiding SOME b!tching.
But still not approving accounts that would require them actually shipping.

I made the incredible dumb mistake of not mailing my form in by certified mail.
I was going to open a ticket to ask if they got it or if I need to send another form in. But I can't find where to open a ticket. On the help page it says to make sure I have Active Script enabled. I've tried Safari, Shiira, Firefox and IE and I can't get anything?
Any suggestions?

I felt exactly the way you do until about 5 minutes ago when they finally approved my account! I was waiting at least 6 weeks (sent my application in about Mar 10), so don't give up hope. I just hope they will get it sent to me SOON.

I felt exactly the way you do until about 5 minutes ago when they finally approved my account! I was waiting at least 6 weeks (sent my application in about Mar 10), so don't give up hope. I just hope they will get it sent to me SOON.

Rewman- HAHA I feel ya and sometimes we do need to vent. I'm not doing any freepay stuff until I get my others approved... which means the one thats sitting there will probably run out of the 90 day stats! still i dont want to take any risk.
fatejd- can you give us a timeline on the other thread so the rest of us will feel a little better? thanks.

they got mine april 13th for a mac mini. no indication whatsoever that it's even being checked over despite submitting a ticket asking if they got it. I can't wait until mid-May when they say two of my referrals are black or something so I have no time to get any new ones.
