I'd welcome a discussion of where moderation can improve. So far, your example doesn't convince me that Moderators at FiPG have blindly supported FreePay.

Exhibit A is nothing. That was probably locked because the people posting in that thread couldn't keep it civil and couldn't post without flamming the sshit out of the last post. If you could discuss out the flamming I'm sure the mods wouldn't have a problem with having the thread open.

I'm sure I'm guilty of steering threads to the positive many times, sometimes by force. If so, it's because the same negativity has been repeated over and over, and we're all well-aware of it by now.

We know people are tired of waiting for their 360s. We know people want a remote. No point in threads being cluttered up with it.

judging by the posts on the other forum, there are others that agree that you guys are uptight, condescending and bias towards Freepay at times. Say what you want but thats my observation over several months of reading the board.

Also, its funny that you pick that one line in the topic I referenced, as if that was the only thing said in the conversation. Clearly this is not something that can be resolved so ill leave it at that and go "get a life" as one of your noob posters so politely requested.

I just want to mention that I think at times some threads about Freepay get locked that probably shouldn't. I don't know where the "uptight" and "condescending" comes from, but I do think some of the threads that have been locked probably shouldn't have.

I have only heard about Mods acting inappropriately, but holly crap is all I can say to this and wow.

Seemed like a perfectly normal debate to me about why Freepay is being seen by some users as not holding up their end of the deal when it comes to shipping product. I have no idea why FiG or their Mods would want to squelch this discussion and lock the Thread out. And that final post. I think it speaks for itself. Anything I say about it won’t do it justice.

Am I missing something here, because I just don’t get it?

Yes.

Tons of stuff has been shipped. I do the ordering myself. As a matter of fact, I sent out a pile of stuff the day before yesterday. Hence, the accusations of us not shipping anything are unfounded.

There Exhibit B is much better. I was tired of complaining, I was tired of everyone doing nothing but bash freepay and come out with their own wild ideas of what is going on. If you want a forum where we allows conspiracies to flourish and any jack-a-mo newberson hijack a forum, go somewhere else. Now that you've found my first irrational post since I joined, the day the forum opened, good job. I hope you feel proud.

Those who speak out should at least have the courage to do it under their own name.

I'm sending my form out today from DigitalCameras. Freepay has been a business for a long time and have treated long time users of their site well. I, and I'm sure others, feel that there's no need to abandon them or claim them as a scam because they made a choice to be able to stay in business. Its not like they're going out of business and screwing us all (with the exception of those veteran members being DQ'd that I've heard of).

This is my real user name. I just don't post that much cause I can't stand the arguing in this forum. (and I gave up being negative for lent!)

I know Jake, Gratis/Freepay is definitely a legit company, I have received free stuff from you before. It just seems the bigger the company is growing, you don't have enough people to take on the increased workload. If any other company did this they'd go under.
I've noticed peoples complaints of slower response for every step in the process and less shipped as of late. (According to everyone here.)

I want to be shipping more stuff but since we don't have any iPods and are waiting for that order to arrive, I can't ship any more than that.
