I saw the CS ticket, but we were supposed to get an email? I checked my spam folder.

Maybe this has something to do with not getting emails when referrals signed up?

Sorry if this is too off-topic.

EDIT got the e-mail at 956 PM...dunno what to say

01-03-2006 19:02:33

so what if on the 90th day, you get all of your green and went into approval. but then one of your referal turned red, what happens then? Are you screwed??

Zolar

01-03-2006 19:05:44

the way they word it, it seems you HAVE to green and get everything approved within 90 days.

Can you shut the fuck up? I didn't want to mention all the flaws in your idea because I thought you'd figure them out, but here goes

Freepay can only give credit when the site gives credit. If the site doesn't credit, freepay can't tell if you did the offer or not. If Freepay gives credit before they get the report, then anyone could just click on a link and get credit, until it was revoked by Freepay who realized they didn't do an offer. This would make scamming extremely easy, not to mention confuse to everyone, not to mention completely ignore the whole point of crediting, which is to give credit.

Otherwise, if you must, you can just pretend they're giving magical instant credits that are invisible and only become visible when the site you actually signed up for gives you credit.

If you complete all referrals within the 90 days, are you clear? Or do you have to go through processing or something within the 90 days?

Edit Im wrong, it's confusing.

nobody2000

01-03-2006 21:55:27

the offers have said "Instant" for a while now...like a month. Only a few are truly instant... it's just freepay's way of being stupid.

I hope that it's easier to obtain referals meaning that 5 ref ipod isn't 5 refs anymore -D that would make this whole thing completely worth it..

I'd DEF. Send in a voucher for a 6 ref 360, or a 3 or 4 ref ipod 30gb, 1 ref shuffle? Maybe this is the compromise.

chazmann

01-03-2006 22:20:40

This new system does make it easier for people to scam you guys even harder than before.

Instead of waiting for your approval to go through to see who really greened or not...you'll have to wait up to a month and by then, they're long gone.

after finishing you have to print voucher mail it in (@3 days)

then wait for apporval (voucher states up to 4 weeks)

then you have to log in and wait for proccessing, stv, etc

You have 90 days to complete your offer and for your referrals to complete theirs. This does not include any mailing time, approval time, or processing time.

[quotef0ac20e3a6="Twiggyboy"]What about those of us with PS3s and Xboxs that are just waiting? Do we have 90 Days for them to ship them to us?[/quotef0ac20e3a6]

Nope. We're still at the mercy of whatever factors are causing the delay. I understand the delay in shipping is frustrating, and that people are upset by the new Terms & Conditions... but seriously, folks, there is more to life, and you're not helping yourself by staying pissed off and venting on here. You're much further ahead to let things go and just breathe.

listen asswipe, some offers offer credit instantly, hell in 5 seconds, so i don't see how in 5 seconds, the offer sends a report to Freepay to give credit that fast. So, i say, Freepay should involve themselves with offers that offer credit instantly or if there is no report from subscription to Freepay, than Freepay should give instant credit upon completion of an offer, not "when you just click it". So you shut the fuck up.

If someone flames you, you should be the bigger person and come back with a calm, thought-out response. Instead of fanning the flames, you can help put them out. You can still get your point across without making it worse.

No, you're wrong. The 90 days is ONLY for completing the requirements, NOT for the approval. I have confirmed this specifically with Jake.

Yes, but Jake still hasn't said what happens if you complete the requirements in 90 days, but are denied approval, and have to find more referrals. That's when mailing time would come into play.

The offer I completed last week was "Instant" it took 5 days for me to get credit.

The offer my my wife's co-worker completed 2 days ago was instant, she hasn't gotten credit yet either...

Think about this though (I just finished a post in my blog about it)...

The credit card offers reqire the credit card company to pull a credit report, approve the card & determine the limit, then send the card, which they say can take up to a month. Then you have 30 days to purchase something, then the credit card company credits FreePay. The total time it would take for all this assuming things went pretty quickly is at least 30 days. So if someone started this 2 months after you started, the offer will NOT finish in time...

The instant offers [icbfbfd2a04]are[/icbfbfd2a04] coming from the offer you do, not Freepay. The offer you signed up for (such as stamps, real rhapsody or any other instant credit offer) has a script that automatically sends credit. Freepay can't just give out credit until the offer itself gives credit, so if there's someone to complain to, it's the offers.

Granted, Freepay [icbfbfd2a04]could[/icbfbfd2a04] just put instant credit offers on their sites, but there are only three or four that do that, which would limit everyone.

It doesn't really matter to me because I won't/can't do any other freesite.

And sorry about the flaming before; I was a bit high-strung because Freepay had fucked me in many various ways.
