Plastic On the Front of the Premium iPOD?

I may go for the black, but i will only get it if there is a plastic that covers the front. I got the Black Nano, it got a extra plastic on the front.

to anybody that got the Video iPod, was there a extra plastic cover on the front of your iPod?

like..something you would normally peel off?

my g/f has a 30gb video and she kept the plastic on the front...with a case, you don't know it's there

Be prepared to wait awhile. Been waiting since Jan. 24. Especially if you're getting a black.

What I don't get is if FreePay buys from "retail" meaning Apple, what's up with the wait? On the Apple website it says ships within 24 hrs..?

Exactly my thought. I mean really does it take this long. call me a complainer but me along with tons of othe people have been waiting way too long.

the advertising sites pay on certain days.. usually 15 or 20 of the next month ;)

A cover is on every iPod u get on the screen. BTW freepay like everyone else buys iPods from wholesalers not retail.

Yep, my 60gig has a plastic cover on the front. I left it on and put the ipod in a DLO jacket, so you can barely tell the extra layer is on there...except that there's this one bubble that extends from the clickwheel to the screen that won't stop forming. I keep getting rid of it, and it keeps coming back. I may get a hard plastic case soon and do away with that plastic layer altogether...
