I got credit for doing Rhapsody, it only took 2 days. But it also was in August, and it was a different deal. ($.99 for one month) So I'm probably not much help there.

This one is a free 2 week trial and you get credit in 7-14 days. After the 2 week trial it is $9.95 a month.

Well, looks like I answered my own question. I got credit for Rhapsody today - exactly 7 days from when I signed up. I guess it works! )

Do you think I should cancel after I get credit or should I stay on it?

I think the service is actually pretty good, except that the program keeps crashing on my pc...other than that they have an awesome music library and it's not even that expensive.

Problem with Rhapsody is that it uses up some bandwidth when you use it and also can't download the songs to iPod (more important). I think I may cancel it soon for those reasons.
Good news is I'm one step closer to my flatscreen, bad news is I need six more referrals... (
