yes but the 4700 is MUCH better than the 3000... it even has PCI-e and an HT processor... and DDR2

the monitor that comes withthe 3000 is a POS... and if you are on here you obviously already have one... just go to Fry's or Comp USA or w/e and get one for 50 bucks

I'd actually love the 4700 instead of the 3000 I got. I've looked into making a HTPC out of the 3000 and it's not even worthwhile, because I'll have to buy a PCI video card, and then a tuner card.
I'd trade my 3000 with monitor straight up for a 4700, if it comes with the specs listed in the OP. I haven't even taken mine out of the box.

Which one would be better to sell on ebay? Anyone know how much a 3000 with a moniter normally sells for? i've seen them go for around 300 bucks, which is weak for a complete desktop pc...

wow thats actually a decent system, if your going to upgrade later on get this one, cause computers are about to change greatly.
i sold my 300 with monitor on ebay for 420 ) got lucky.. i had to list it twice tho

I had 13 referals. I submitted for verification yesterday and gratis rejected 3. I submitted again with the 10 referals that were left, how many days do you think would they take this time.

4700 > 3000 coincidence? C'mon guys....there is no discussion here. If you haven't noticed there is a direct correlation between model number and model specs. The higher the number the better the specs. Go with the 4700 if you haven't already checked out...the difference in spec vs the price of a decent monitor makes the 4700 a much better choice.
Perhaps get the 4700 and the flatscreen monitor from freeflatscreens.com?
