i feel bad for you guys...
i would be in the same spot as you guys if i didnt get off hold so quickly, gratis needs a serious kick in gonads (nutsac) they are screwing a lot of people who worked a lot harder than the first batches...

i actually dont think that would happen, i would think Gratis would take care of the people who are done and then just drop it, not screw everyone over, or maybe a small incentive for the ones that have a few referrals.
como se dice "class action suit?"

most likely a class action lawsuit would be filed, not only to get the promised ipods, but some monetary compensation as well

I would be so bored all of a sudden. That's what would happen lol

I wonder what their exit strategy is? Obviously this offer cannot continue forever. I suppose they could just roll the users over to the next gen Ipods of equal value when they hit the market.

eventually everyone will have registered with freeipods and the people at the bottom of the pyramid will not be able to refer anyone. they'd just have to shut down the site.

Or I guess I would start a circle for another legit deal, like say, tech4free )

I still am confused...
Where are the ipods supposed to come from? There are no loose ipods. Every IPOD that is manufactured goes to apple store first then off to backordered vendors (like freeipods.com etc)
freeipods.com gets them direct from apple... it is not a vendor issue, it is a supply issue.
apple can ship out 500,000 ipods in one day if they had the ipods in stock.
Filing a suit would get you no where. Read the contract you agreed to when you signed up.
Besides, Gratis simply just can not get their hands on the ipods.

Unfortunatly i dont think you could do anything if they decide to quit sending ipods out. but people are still getting them so i think we will be ok i hope. im still waiting to get approved i submited for approval like 5 days ago.

A class action suit would go nowhere. Any such suit would be thrown out of court by any two-bit judge. By signing up you agreed to their terms and conditions. They are spelled out and easy to read. In order for a class action suit to be filed, a lawyer first needs to determine if there's any money to be made. There isn't any. It's an open-and-shut deal, and if Gratis decided to take advantage of certain language in their Terms and Conditions, too bad for everybody.
