That's the concern of one of my possible refs...
I'm referring to
1) E-mail
2) Snail mail
thanks...

actually I think it depends on the site. Freepay and well known sites no. But if you sign up for one of the more obscure sites like i have.. I have 10,000 in my gmail spam folder ever since. Stick with freepay and you're fine.
Best thing to do, imo, is to get another email that's dedicated to freebie sites.

I havne't noticed an increase in snail mail spam, but my gmail account is getting slammed with junk to the tune of 2000+ a month.

Same here. It was like they turned on a switch one day and gmail became my new hotmail account.

I started getting spam for the first time to my referrals account just a couple of weeks ago. I think it's from that magazine offer (I can't remember it right now); someone else posted that they have an almost anything-goes privacy policy.

Not so much freepay, but some of the offers you sign up for under them and other sites will definately increase your spammage.

freepay doesn't spam but the offers you sign up for DO SPAM
the best thing to do is send yourself a gmail invite and make a new address dedicated to free sites
