Has the pyramid gotten too large?

Is it too late for me to start my 5 referral quest?
Just a general question, I know it's possible. But now that the pyramid is growing, what are my chances of completeion?

I doubt its a pyramid issue so much as its a find-someone-not-signed-up issue
yeah, everyones heard of FIP.com, its all over the web... you might be able to find 5 though

I don't think you will have a problem. I personally think that there's still many people who have no clue about the site or the offer. I had no problem finding five who didn't...

If you search really hard through the backwoods you could probably scrounge up a few people ;)
Actually I'm sure a lot of people have heard liofli it but you could inform them.
Just don't get them all at once (less be put on hold)

Thanks guys. ^^
Any suggestions? I have a bunch pending and 1 completed from my friend. ;P
I posted on a couple of message boards where I'm a regular at, and explained the entire situation so hopefully we'll see what happens. =D
Edit Also, what are the easiest offers to use right now? I signed up with blockbuster but I'd like to reassure some friends.

I think its too big if you only intend to solicit for referrals on the web. If you did what I did, which was buy a domain name (8 bucks), URL frame it to my referral link, then put up a couple of flyers on campus with a quick, easy URL for people to remember. Your best bet right now is to solicit for referrals in the offline world -- start by asking people you know, sticking your link in your email signature, or doing something similar to what I did -- I think tinyurl.com would work too if you made tear-offs on your flyers.
As far as the offers go, I did Columbia House DVD because I was actually interested in putting together a small collection. I'm pleased with it -- their order turnaround is reasonable.

I think that even if people have heard of it, many are still very, very skeptical.
The best advice to give you is just bug every friend you can think of until they do it. I even got my boss to complete an offer...

Well to be quite honest, Dick signed up, did his offer, then called and said "What the hell is an iPod?"
But hey, he helped me out.
One of my other references is a good friend I have in our local school district. Well, on the first day of kindergarten for my daughter, the district put her on the wrong bus coming home. We didn't know where she was for over an hour. Yeah, I was a bit pissed... Anyway, after a day or so I called him up and said "You know, you lost my one and only daughter for over an hour. Her mother and I were worried sick. The least you can do is go to this Web site and complete an offer for me."
Yep, it was done....

Hey, I figured I had my friend in such a spot (I spend a morning yelling at him the day before) that I was going to take full advantage of opportunity.

How sucky must it be to be put on the wrong bus the FIRST day of kindergarten?

I think the average person doesnt know about it. Out of all of my friends, Only a couple of them know about it, and only because I told them.
Im sure you have a bunch of friends that have never even heard of it. Theres a shitload of people in the world

I think most people don't know about it, but the ones left are really hard to convice. for example, I told my friend about it and he just said "free ipod my ass lol" and another said "I can't believe you actually believe these".. but if you link them to pictures and LIE saying your friend has an ipod from them, you can get some.

Most of my friends just are too scared to use a credit card, even though I tell them that you use it at a LEGIT sight like blockbuster, ect.
They still won't do it. =(

Suggest they get a prepaid credit card to complete the offer...
my problem is getting 5 of my many yellows to turn green
ldsguy
19-09-2004 09:01:05
Most yellows wont, they sign up without reading the fine print, then abandon it when they find out they have to do an offer.
